Maybe I don't undestand how this program works. I have been doing testing and cannot figure out why these files cannot be changed.

As you can see from the screen shot, it wants to change the program name to

    "Entourage - 0x0 - Season 3 - Episode 13 - Less Than 30.avi "

    FROM
    (D:\TV Shows\Entourage\Season 3\Entourage - Season 3 - Episode 13 - Less Than 30.avi)

Doesn't the program take the existing information, query thetvdb and rename the files?

    Thanks

It does but this naming scheme isn't recognized by the application. it recognizes stuff like 3x13 or s03e13 or 313 but not this one.

i'm trying to rename my movies but it doesn't seem to be connecting properly to imdb. it scans but then just comes up with movie () for every one.

    any way to fix this?

    thanks!

You're probably not wanting feature requests but my shows are automatically downloaded into a folder. I can't imagine it being incredibly complex for you to scan a folder, then move the files to another folder containing a layout of TV shows.

    ie scan C:\downloaded
    move to C:\tv\

And move into folder C:\tv\*show*\*season*\episode 1x1.avi

Now that would sort out all my problems, and I'm sure a lot of other people mess around moving files etc. People using the popcorn hour certainly do.

    Just a thought :)

    Love the program

Thanks for the request. Sounds like a good idea. I'll see into adding it.

It does it for every file in the directory for me but an example

    Actual
    Alien (1979)

    Rename
    Alien (1979)

    Where as

    Actual
    Aliens

    Rename
    Alien ()

So it appears it isn't scanning the IMDB only picking up whats in the file?

So you have a file called "Alien (1979).avi" which works and a file "Aliens.avi" which doesn't ?

Correct, All my movies without the year just showed up as MovieName (). However Its possible that the ones with the year are not working correctly and its just parsing the movie year from the file rather then IMDB?
