    Hi again

Can you provide us with a small (max 100 MB) sample so we can reproduce the problem? You can upload to our FTP server - login details are at the bottom of this page.

Quick thought - in your logs it's actually using FFDShow Video decoder for the video (possibly because it's XviD) - are you sure you haven't got FFDShow set up to do upscaling to 1920 x 1080 ?

    When it gets to the EVR presenter (evr.log) it's 1920 x 1080, 16:9 video, not the original 576 x 432 - so it's being upscaled somewhere.....

(Pressing Shift+1 (!) on the keyboard will bring up the render stats screen, which shows the video frame size, aspect ratio etc and the filters in use when playing video - at the EVR presenter stage, after the video decoder)

Ah, interesting. You're correct, it's using ffdshow from SAF 5, and I didn't even realize.

I unchecked the "Resize" checkbox in FFDshow settings and all is well now. Woo hoo!

MediaInfo/The info that shows up when I press Y still says SD 16:9, so that's definitely still a bug, but not the big deal it was before. :))

    :D very much, all!

Raised -->here<--. I think we plan to upgrade our version of MediaInfo shortly so we can knock that out easily at the same time.

    Thanks for your persistence. :)

    Hi.
The resize is ON becouse you enabled Subtitles durning SAF setup.
You need to resize video if you want good looking subtitles from all sources.
Else use MePo build in subtiles engine.
