Hi all, first of all sorry about my english, i hope i can explain myself :)

My problem is that, with the RC2 or the latests SVN of que RC1 my mediaportal freeze after 10 seconds (more about). I can continue using it, but in blind mode, if i load a film it starts perfectly and if in this moment i go back to the mediaportal, it works, but 10 seconds after... the image freeze again.

I am now at work, but later i will post the logs files.

Thanks for all and very good work :)

Try using the ATI Display driver 7.2 version and CCC 7.2. I was having the same problems and found elsewhere on the forum that rolling back to 7.2 resolves the issue. It worked for me rolling back.

    Thanks a lot!

I am now at home, and it works!

I have tested with the latest SVN for the RC1 and now don't freeze. Now i am installing the RC2 but sure it works too :)

This is the official ATI/AMD answer....is someone able to find the time to test this solution ?

    Dear customer,
    Thank you for contacting AMD.
If you are using the 7.9 version of CCC, please access the link below and install the Catalyst Control Center 7.9 hotfix:
    http://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&questionID=29837
If you still have problems, please try the 7.7 version of CCC available at
    Vista 32 bits: http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/vista32/previous/common/common-cat77-vista32.html
    Vista 64 bits: http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/vista64/previous/common/common-cat77-vista64.html
If you still have problems, please contact us again.

    Simone
