    Me three :)
There have been quite a lot of fixes since last SVN (browsing share speed, fixing series views in recorded TV, mtn crashes, scrolling EPG, transport streams causing a crash, tv guide db changes....)

Really would like to see a further SVN whilst we are waiting for the final few bits to get sorted. I think if we wait until everything is fixed and just relase RC1 then there is the risk that so many fixes and new code is just going to cause lots of other issues to come out.

The sooner we can get them, the sooner we can test them :D

Oh and MP 1.1 is looking the best yet. Been playing with the SVNs since Beta and seem more stable and with extra bits so keep up the good work:D

    Me four :p

It seems like even though it was rescheduled, issues are still being added to the list. That takes up more and more time, so instead of stalling and stalling further a new SVN could be in place. Or will RC1 be releases within the next few days?

New SVN build will be released before RC1. It will be published when it is ready (as usual). About those new issues, those are added as not all devs are working with TsReader and it is better to have those fixes in than letting devs to roll their thumbs :)

Is there a 'bug-freeze'? are these the last to be fixed? Cause if it is, it should be out real soon wouldn't it?

... as tourettes has written: It mostly depends on finishing the changes/fixes to tsreader - and that makes sense, a RC with "too buggy" tsreader doesn't make sense for most users ( i also waiting for lot's of the fixes included since last pubSVN :) - but currently have to use tsreader 3 SVNs ago to keep MP running under XP ...)

    Hi,

is there a rough estimate on when we can expect the rc? I set up my htpc today and I'm not sure if it's better to install the beta or wait a few days (weeks?) until the new release comes out...

    thx

No date. We are still working on TsReader which must be finished before RC1 is released.

    Hi Chris!

Can the the deadline (12/2009 for the final) be maintained?

    Best regards
