I think it isn't realistic to have no bugs in RC1

The term release candidate (RC) refers to a version with potential to be a final product, ready to release unless fatal bugs emerge. In this stage of product stabilization (read QA cycle), all product features have been designed, coded and tested through one or more Beta cycles with no known showstopper-class bug.

There is no application in the world where its RC is release without known bugs. Not even stable versions are released without known issues.

I find it kinda amusing that we seem to end up here, splitting hairs.

Goal is to get rid of all mantis-issues assigned to RC1 and release it. No matter if we call it Beta 0815, RC1 or Bob.
Ultimatelly we want 1.1.0 as Bugfree as possible, while we still know that not everything will be fixable for that release.

1) you should really use -> Roadmap - MediaPortal Bugtracker as it contains the open and closed issues
2) You should care about the TVE3 as well since it will affect the release schedule of MP

Without being too intrusive, but will there be a further SVN before RC1 release?

The last one is now ~2weeks ago and I am eagerly looking forward to the resolved framerate bug in W7
