Just went down to 98% for the tv server. Some critical issues. So it probably will not be release this year. Brings a real dillemma for my windows 7 migration.
I have all clients on windows 7 with acceptable problems but I am afraid to move the tv server to windows 7. I am really hoping for a stable RC1 for 1.1 so that the final release will follow the RC shortly. Looking at the delays I am sure they try everything they can to make this so.

Good work, to bad windows 7 and the new feaatures bring so much trouble, I did not expect that since the basic changes between vista and 7 are not that big I thought.
I love MP and run a production for several years now and it is always a trusted friend for my recordings and I am sure it will be for many years to come.

Hi ALL,

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all the Dev's and those putting in all the time to making MP what it is. I'm awaiting the RC1 as are many others, and although i'm iching to get it released, i agree it's better to wait and have it release in the best possible error/bug free way.

Can't wait for you guys to get RC1 done as i'm sure it will be great and big jump for me as i'm still on 1.0 RC4 . Too scared to change it as it works for me with all my plugin's .

So thanks guys and hope you had a Great Christmas and you have a great New Year. Keep up the AMAZING work. As without you guys we'd all be lost, well i'd be lost as i couldn't code my way out of a paper bag

Just upgrade to W7 and use 1.1.0 Beta 1 + latest public svn snapshot until RC1 is done.

I know but MP must be reinstalled when RC1 comes out, right?

yes, but if you backup your databases+image folders you'll have it installed+configured in no time.

Since there were some major changes made with the tv part I'm guessing there will be at least one more svn snapshot before rc1, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a release this month.

I could be wrong though...
