But where´s the problem? The Kernel is the same... only on 2008 and r2 you have the problem with the bda-drivers... but this is a microsoft issue, not mp.
Or only don't want to support/test it, or are there some technical reasons?

There you go. Thats a massive issue for us since no dvb card will work.

Also many DirectShow fixes are not included in the ServerOS'es - as I have been told by our developers.
Besides that, noone in the team has an server OS for testing/development.

But this is not the right thread to discuss that.

RC6 isn't functionality, Lodingtime for playing Movies toooooo long, Quality to play h.264 is a big debug, CPU usage ist very high.... and more more more!!!!!!

Nearly the entire team switched to 1.1.0 last week.
No new issues were spotted so 1.1.0 final will be released this friday unless the world ends or something.

Wow, I am astonished by your quality reporting bugs... How are the developers suppose to fix problems like "isn't funktionality" or "Quality to play h.264 is a big debug"???

If you are really interessted in a better MediaPortal, please follow the guidlines to report a bug.

maybe try a clean install of windows and mediaportal and install the right codec for h264.

then there´s a "How2MPonServer2k8" missing...
but there isn't something special... people only have to active bda-support... eat this:
BDA-Server2k8
till now i got no problems, and i wish there will be no change because iam using 2k8 for the great MPTVServer!
and iam planning to use for 1.1.0 a webinterface...
not OT: iam running that on RC6... ;-)

Thats not new and it's plain illegal (because it injects files from an other Windows version) and because of that we can not officially tell our users to do it.
Further discussion about that in this thread will be removed since it is offtopic and was allready discussed and concluded on a lot time ago.
