This is simply amazing! I am proud that I use this media front end solely

a question pertaining to the beta: when in comes to scrolling through media, is there a faster response time to visual and text information than the current iteration of MP? I dearly hope so, as that is the only nice thing I've found with xbmc (ok, they have a faster load time... but seriously? you need a PhD in rocket surgery to use that thing!)

This can't be answered easiely because the "speed" depends on a lot of variables.
i.e. DB-View or shares view (for shares view, content local or somewhere on the LAN? if LAN, is it WLAN? SMB1 or 2?), FanArt? folder.jpg's? (for both, used resolution/filesize can have a major impact in scrolling speed)

Compared to Blue3, MP feels a lot snappier with the new default skin, because our designers tweaked all xml files (animations/transitions and so on).
