Great! Thanks for the help! I'm guessing I'll need to change somethings on the SD site or will this file allow me to still use what I have setup for now?
Sorry for so many questions but this looks interesting, especially since my approach to make things automated failed once again..

Lehmden,
Looking forward to seeing how things develop. Thank you for your efforts. They are much appreciated.
A couple of thoughts based on my understanding of Schedules Direct...
With Schedules Direct, each Series has it's own unique numeric code. Each episode also has it's own numeric code. It also has a new flag for the first time airing of shows.
Some scheduling engines will record based on key words in the title and episode field. The more accurate way of ensuring that all items from a series are by using the numeric values of Shows and Episodes. This is one of the main reasons Schedules Direct can add value to users over other methods of grabbing data.
Now I don't know if other scheduling services provide this type of data but I wanted to point this out.
Also, the most modern way to pull data from Schedules Direct is using REST to grab JSON data.
I wanted to point this out is case it makes sense to think about these things in your development.
I also don't know if the MP2 database can hold these specific values but that would be a factor.
Thanks again for all you do.

I too would like to get this plug in to operate automatically also. Currently I use XML TV and download manually my data from Schedules Direct and rename it to tvguide.xml and the program will then import that data or you can speed it by manually invoking a import. It works this way but doesn't seem like I had as many days as I had in MP1.15.
There is mapping that has to be done in the method I use,it's located in the config section, plugins and xmltv in my case. I have batch files that can rename the data properly and MCXML that can download the data but I've yet to get it to run automatically in Administrator Mode! Maybe mastering that would get the data working for me :) I'm going to book mark this thread for monitoring in hopes someone can shed some light as to this plugins operation. Good Luck!
Today, I just went through the upgrade to MP2 from 1.15. In 1.XX, I followed these directions to get the schedule download automatically. Basically, you open TV Configuration, go to Plug-ins, Make sure that PowerScheduler is enabled, and then setup the EPG section. On the EPG tab, there is an entry "Run Command Before Internal Handlers are Triggers" with a button to select a file. Use that button and find your batch file that runs MC2XML. Once you have that setup, the batch file will run every day at the time you specify and automatically download the EPG from the EPG service that you configured MC2XML to use - Schedules Direct.

    Hi Waylon,
Thanks for the reply with the information! I will certainly look into that ASAP ! The way I am doing it now is basically the same thing I did with MP1 but either I am doing something wrong in operation or something because I got close to 2 weeks worth of data on MP1 and I only get maybe a couple days worth on MP2.
I was using MC2XML with the Microsoft service for a while; however, that proved to be too unreliable for me, so I switched to Schedules Direct. With the Microsoft Service, I also got two weeks worth of data. However, with Schedules Direct, I only get one week of data. AFAIK, there is no means to get more than one week of data from Schedules Direct - I have looked, and I have not found a way to do so. There may be a way to do so now, but I have not checked in about a year or so. I have gotten used to it. I did check to see if the guide in MP2 was somehow limited to a certain number of days by default, however, it appears that it is not. In other words, I see the same number of days with guide data as I did in MP1.
