This is a TEST build for our upcoming "Update 1" of the Summer'15 Release.

Main changes compared to Summer'15 Release are:

• Reworked installer, it uses a bootstrapper to install dependencies
• Fixes for SlimTV / TVE 3:
  • IPTV was broken, loading of plugins fixed, ini-file in correct location now (thanks to @mm1352000 !)
    
  • Updated core to MP1.12 version
  • Radio groups are visible in SlimTV client
    
  • New: allow parallel use of TVE3/3.5: ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\SlimTvCore\v3.0 or v3.5 folders will be used for different data (due to differences in tuning details!). But still only one version can be run concurrently, of course!
  • New: allow "auto tune last channel" when entering TV
  • New: automatic creation of media sources for recordings. Note: this works only after you ran TV configuration once (settings need to be saved). Then you need to restart MP2-Server once.
    
  • New: Icon for TV configuration
• Log collector now included, with link on desktop and start menu (using new icon as well)
  
• Fix for NetworkConnectionTracker (improved detection of virtual NICs)
• Update for "OneTrueError" service plugin to avoid huge amount of TVE3 exceptions to be reported
  
• OnlineVideos 2 plugin is not contained, please backup and restore it after install

Hi Morpheus,

Just ran the installer with full admin privileges as an update over the existing MP2 single seat Installation.

• The installer asks the same questions twice, e.g. agree to license Terms
• Setup progress is displayed in two separate, slightly different Windows with identical content
• The Server Installation is getting stuck. Im am seeing this error dialogue, and that's it

I did the same. Everything worked as expected.
But I closed everything down manually before installing.

Only thing I miss are the translation for the latest plugins for example BlueVision configuration and refresh rate changer.
looks that the translations, for those plugins are not pulled down from Transifex.

What did you close down? If a file is called "update", you expect to do just that, don't you?

Well, my installation is no longer working now. TVService is not starting up (host refuses connection). Not a big deal - I can uninstall everything and just load the update, this time as a normal setup. In any case, launching this to the public is probably not be a good idea.

The installer is very new and I need as much as testing feedback as possible. Therefor I also need the installer logs (when running the setup with the contained ,bat file for logging mode).

We need to fix those issues before a public release (this thread clearly states that this are test builds).

Please provide instructions, maybe as a readme file. I used the exe to run the update, not the bat. How would one know?

How am I supposed to launch the bat file? When I run it from explorer, it's not doing anything...

The archive contains (among others) following files:

• MP2-Setup.exe
• MP2-Setup-Logging.bat

The batch file just runs the .exe with additional arguments to log all internal messages into a .log file. So there is nothing more to do than extracting the whole archive into a folder and run .bat.

What did you close down?

MP2 client
MP2 server (Stopped the service)
MP2 Client launcher
MP2 Server monitor
(MP1) TVServer (stopped the service and set it to start manually)

TVService is not starting up (host refuses connection).

A running TVServer service will maybe cause a conflict with the MP2 server service over the TV tuner(s).

I stop the MP2 server service when I use the (MP1)TV server service.
That is the reason I set the TV server service to start manually,
