The Server Installation is getting stuck.

Conflict with a running (MP1)TV server service?

No it doesn't stop other services. You need to stop it before installing this build.

@morpheus_xx Maybe it's better to add a warning notice to the installer, that any other PVR software needs to be stopped prior to install MP2. It isn't only about MP1 TV Server. Think of Argus, DVB Viewer, WMC,... all of those will conflict with the TVE in MP2 Server.

Yes, probably a good idea. The new bootstrapper allows some customization (layout, text) as well as a complete own UI. While the latter could allow us to create an awesome looking installer, I'd stick to the inbuilt basic ones. A nice UI takes time to develop, so it's a part for a later release (not Update 1).

I've just checked your attached log file. This is only the one from bootstrapper (main installer). But there should be also this log: R:\TMP\MediaPortal_2_20150801223501_0_MainPackage.log for the main package (where the Server is installed).

Can you zip and attach this file please?

Even not when running as Admin?
