That's interesting, I do not have any anti-virus installed on the virtual machine at all. I had ESET on my old machine but not on this new one.

I'll try a non-HD channel and get back to you.

Okay, I installed Shark 007s codec pack thinking maybe this was an issue.

It does seem to have done something. Now I am not receving the connection lost message.

I just keep getting the Unable to play stream2.0 message.

While I understand that it is not officially supported for Windows 7 - I had this set up working on my PC a few days ago. The only thing that has chanegd is that I now have a Mac and am running Windows through parallels.

I also tried a SD channel and the same thing happens. I've attached new logs.

Using Shark007 as well and Developing MP under Parallels. Of couse you need to select the proper codecs and know what you are doing.

MP under Parallels runs smooth but not as smooth as a real Win system. But that applies to all applications. Also it has some annoying bugs in its hardware DirectX9 support.

Of couse you need a powerful Machine to have Virtualization run smooth in general. Using a Core i7 iMac myself with 16GB of memory (will upgrade to 32 soon - have too much stuff open at the same time in my three screens and too many different VMs).

Have you ever run into any problems like what I have experienced?

As you said, I am not really which codecs to select and whatnot but I am confident my Mac can handle the virtualisation. It's a 3.1ghz i7 16GB Ram like yourself.

Are my new logs any different to my first set of logs.

I would check them myself but I do not really know what I am looking for. :)

nothing new as i can see. though it is hard to dig through logs for old version - in newer versions of MP the logging is enhanced, compatibility improved, etc. E.g. known issue of LAV filter not working with liveTV was fixed in 1.3beta of special version of TSReader for 1.2.3.
Have you tried to set other audio decoder for TV instead of MPA?

I just tried setting a different audio decoder and the same thing happened.

I'm not sure what to do, on my old Windows machine the exact same settings worked about a week ago.

I'm sorry I am not even sure what VMR9 is. Am I able to change it to something else?
