Ok guys, I have it all working as I want now :)

TV codecs set to Microsoft DVD-DTV, for audio and all video, except the LATM AAC Audio set to LAV Audio decoder.
    Default Direct Sound Device,
Result: Perfect AC3 sound now, instability is gone and also perfect in sync (was also a problem with ffdshow and MP audio renderer)

I have reinstalled LAV Splitter and LAV Audio codec, last version 0.37 just two days old..

Now that particular m2ts video file is running fine!, changed extension to mkv so LAV is able to split it.
Checked the graph, and it is using the LAV Audio decoder in combination with the MP Audio renderer (!), so that story that MPAudiorenderer is not working with LAV Audio decoder is at least partly not true :). But more important is that with the other video files it is still using the ffdshow decoder as I have set in MP config. So it will only use the LAV codec when the ffdshow cant cope with it.. that is goood!

Also checked with Shift-1, and MP Audiorenderer is doing its job, because FPS is nicely running at 25FPS in stead of 23.something and having these little stutters now and then, the red line is now as straight as it can be! As said in my perevious post, sound quality is a bit decreased compared to be decoded by the marantz DTS decoder, but very acceptable for me. With the marantz it was just a little more delicate.

Ok I am done now, but curious about that story why LAV codec should not work with MP Audiorenderer, because on my system it works.. at least for that one troublesome movie I have :)

I will update the system info on the left accordingly..

Everybody who has helped me solving my problems the last few days, many thanks, it is very much appreciated! :D

It will work as long as the audio HW you are using supports the exactly same format as the LAV decoder is outputting.

You could use https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/637138-post3.html to check what formats are possible.

Nice to hear you got it working lotsofjazz :)
LAVF could be working with mpaudiorenderer but......i found out that i have no center channel with AC3 anymore then. So dialogs are completely missing.

AC3 sound encoding for TV, not for others videos, some video filters for small divx, none for full HD, etc... (We should open another subject for this if you want discuss of this, it's a no-ending subject !)

Cant find Team Mediaportal in REG?

    Hi,
I just installed Mediaportal audiorenderer as per post 1, and set up mediaportal configuration as decribed, but I cant find Team Mediaportal under software in the register...
I put the .ax fle in the same folder as the dshowhelper.dll file, and registered it successfully (or..?)
I need to enable ac3 encoding, as I dont have receiver with HDMI input.

    :D

    edit:
Ok, third time I restarted the computer, it was there. Why it wasnt there the first two times, I dont know..?

By the way, what does the MP audiorenderer do that reclock doesn't ?
Tried to search in the thread, but no clear answer...

    Same problem for me.

    @Lotsofjazz

ffdshow is a little hard to config but to start you can do this :

-Download the ICL12 build from ffdshow tryouts project, svn 3984 (x86/x64) - XvidVideo.RU (faster than the standard build)
-Try my config ;-) View attachment 90197 (I use specifics profiles for TV)
-Use ffdshow (not dxva) everywhere in the codecs config AND in the subtitle engine

Microsoft DVD-DTV is very bad to deinterlace TV

Thanks for sharing :) I will try tomorrow.

Micrososft DVD-DTV works fine with me, no deinterlacing problems. I think because hardware acceleration is used.

    Hello,

works like a charm with FFdshow audio codec.

Just curious, will MP have Sync playback to display in some future releases, now that it is possible?
