Ach, shame on me then :(. Really sorry to wasted your time... What comes to EVR I tested it with this and use it normally, but I thought to debug this with WMR since EVR is 'software experimental' only at XP. Anyway I'm looking forward to update that PC to Win7 too.. maybe then I can do some serious testing ;)

Thanks anyway to care that problem.

    Version 9 available.

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/637138-post3.html

This one should be quite interesting one for the NVIDIA HDMI or Xonar users, since polling based exclusive mode support has been added (yep, had to do since I haven't received any response from the NVIDIA's direction.) It has slightly(?) higher CPU usage than the event based mode and it will be less resistant for the sound glitches but at least there is now sound :)

    • Added support for WASAPI polling based buffer filling (should help with HW / drivers that are broken - NVIDIA, Xonar)

    Fixes:

    • MMCSS thread boost was not done for the rendering thread
    • Added OS version detection - WASAPI is not even tried to be enabled on Windows XP
    • Few rate crashes - not sure if those have been present in earlier releases (SVN only most likely)
    • Small REW/FFDW improvements in EVR presenter

New setting (set this false to test Xonar / NVIDIA).

    WASAPIUseEventMode

Uses WASAPI event driven mode. Enabled by default (causes issues on some HW / drivers where no proper support is available.)

If that includes ion then consider me ready and waiting.

Yes, ION shoud be considered as well - at least there shouldn't be any difference for separate GPUs (at least I don't know, but I haven't had any HW to test with).

Not much that can be done. Driver just wont accecpt that stream format: 48000 Hz, 6 channels, 16 bits. Could you test some other files as well? Also try to play around with the driver settings (since Xonar seems to work quite differently than other cards - not allowing full control for the applications).

EDIT: please try to use {0.0.0.00000000}.{a364fe30-cb60-4f25-be17-ea690278d617} as the WASAPIPreferredDevice and make sure the drivers are configured to support multichannel for HDMI.

    No. not work
Probably because my hdmi (ati HD 3850) is connected to the plasma tv so it have only stereo in its setup into control
    panel.

Yep, most likely since it is up to the driver to accept or reject the stream type. Could you test some 2 channel video or alternatively use ffdshow to resample the audio for two channels?

EDIT: Oh, indeed. It is ATI with that GUID. Sometimes the localised device names arent that good thing to have. No need to test that, we know that ATI works :)
