Just tried it, the drift is now fixed at zero but it still looks like the HW and system clocks are getting more and more out of sync the longer something is played. Would it help to upload a short video showing the numbers actually changing?

No clue what the numbers mean

But you got no sync issues with MPAR with timestretch off? Only the weird numbers issue?

Still have sync issues, it looks like the audio is behind the video on live tv at least - will try with a recording and report back in a few mins.

***EDIT***

Played back some recorded tv and after a few mins the sound suddenly broke up completely and went to a repetitive static type noise. Stopping and starting the playback fixes the problem but pausing / resuming didn't.

make sure not using sync on both the audio codec and the audio renderer. use only on mpar. or use on lav with the windows renderer

Sorry, don't quite follow you but LAV is setup as shown in the screen grabs on page 1.[DOUBLEPOST=1375470012][/DOUBLEPOST]Using LAV with the the Direct Sound renderer seems to be working ok. I could be wrong here but my TV supports 24, 50 and 60hz so in theory i can get away without using MPAR as the frame rates should match / divide into each other as long as i'm using the dynamic refresh rate feature? The only issue i have using the Direct Sound route is Windows keeps resetting the speaker config to stereo whenever the system comes out out standby without the surround sound amp being on - is there any way to force Windows to use a 5.1 setup regardless of what the HDMI connection says?

Right click on the audio icon and select playback devices and follow the image. I don't have a 5.1 system on this pc, so only stereo for me. But it should be possible to configure it that way.

Spoke a little too soon it seems, still having sound sync issues using Direct Sound instead of MPAR. Just formatted the system and fingers crossed a fresh install of everything will solve it.

Reinstalled everything and whilst the clocks still seem way out sync - the audio is ok on live TV now - this is using LAV and MPAR, whilst I release that MPAR isn't intended for use on live TV being able to bypass the windows mixer solves the issue of the speaker config going from 5.1 to stereo when the system is powered up before the AVR.

The numbers that bother me are "HW v. sys: +430 ms resampling adj.:" which constantly increases the longer stuff is played - is this a sign of any bigger issues or just me making a big deal out of nothing?

    Thanks again!

Post logs in debug mode playing problematic video. Post screenshot. After more than 5min. Are you using multiple displays.
