Hi,
Try to uninstall MP & delete or rename MediaPortal folder --> reboot --> reinstall MP, if you want to test latest SVN - backup your install folder --> apply latest SVN & at last run configuration (MP Setup - Installation wizard).

Regards
Roy

Now i did that WITHOUT running any kind of startup or configuration, before having updated to latest svn. I installed MP 0.2.1 > Applied svn 01-11-2006 > run the wizard. It crashes during the process, but im able to continue to get it finished by ignoring the crash.

Now it starts with graphics working!

Here's the log from when running the wizard:

check the windows eventlog if there are any "Disk" entries about bad sectors.
    if thats fine then:

    1. uninstall MediaPortal
    2. remove MediaPortal folder
    3. reboot
    4. install ALL AVAILABLE Windowsupdates
    5. check that your drivers are all up to date
    6. install MediaPortal 0.2.0.0 ! not 0.2.1.0

if you still have problems please ATTACH all files from the Log folder.
please DO NOT PASTE them in here.

    Hi,
The crash when running installation wizard it's probably the Scandinavian bug on some computers/Windows version & crash with sqlite. This is a known problem without a solution for the moment. MP Setup / configuration after the wizard work ;)

I was refering to install MediaPortal 0.2.0.0 + latest SVN, but since it seems to went well 0.2.1.0 + SVN, no harm done :)

    Regards

I have already installed all windows updates :) Then I followed your advise and did it straight by the wiki link you sent me ( http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/Use...-nighly-builds) , which sent me here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=107397

Must be an error in the wiki, then :(

Well as said earlier, its up and running now :D I didnt know about the "scandinavian bug", but it could well apply to me, as I'm from scandinavia ;)

Now need to get the Blaster thing going again with the new tvengine :)
