I have a fresh new install of windows7 and mediaportal with tvserver.
I have installed the skystar2 driver with package from dvbforums and it correctly recognized by the system and the signal is ok but when I go to tv server configurazion for scanning channel I see only radio web card that is not the skystar2.
how to solve this problem?
thanks

There are two types of drivers available for SkyStar2 -- the BDA and WDM. When you download the latest version from Technisat, there will be both, the latter in the root of the directory and the former in the BDA folder. You need to install the WDM ones from the root, MediaPortal won't accept BDA. And besides the drivers you need to install the software (click start.exe and then clich thru). Hope this helps!

PS My SS2 keeps stuttering every 5 seconds -- been fighting with it for two weeks now, hope yours won't.
