if you look at your error log, it talks about connection problems of the TV plugin.
No single word about Music.
So what makes you think that this is related to BASS?

I have the following problem : I change it to BASS and turn the log level to debug, i restart my computer and I try to play a video... this crashes my system, I can't do anything anymore, I have to reboot... but when I reboot a new log file is created.
I've attached that log file here, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I tried it again, turning the BASS off fixes everything.

Ok, I blame the late hour... MediaPortal.bak seems to be the file that I needed to attach... So, yeah, here it is !

After some more tests, I have also found out which was the problem for me: the Fritzbox plug in!
If I disable it, MP is closing without problems and everything works.
Once enabled, apparently everything works fine, but I get the closing issue with MP.
I'll post the debug log as soon as possible.

ok, this is a known issue.
i corrected that i think sometimes in January.
But you're still on the stable release from December. so you need to disable BASS when you want to play Video.

Right, but your error log is full of errors trying to find the TV Server.
Please correct that first.
Anyway, as it is not related to the Music module, i might not be of any help to you anyhow.
