Any idea?
1. In the [external] HDHR Setup tool there should be a setting named something like "application" or "BDA compatibility mode". Make sure the value is set to "MediaPortal".
2. Also, if any network security software is installed, ensure that it is configured to allow TV Server to access the network fully.
3. Finally, if the above 2 suggestions don't help I would try to change "preferred network provider" from "generic" to "DVBC":
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...nfiguration/02_TV_Servers#Edit_Tuner_Settings
1. I have checked it and it is correct on Mediaportal.
2. I have checked virusscanner exclusionlist and advanced firewall and every Mediaportal component is excluded from these checks
3. I have made this setting to DVBC and made a channelscan. Same symptoms. I have switched back to "Generic"

I have connected my TV directly to DVB-C and made a channelscan. All channels are there and are working.
I have tested HDHomeRun with HDHomeRun View and with the Web-Browser from the MediaCenter and from my working-PC. It works right with all channels.
I have tested HDHomeRun with Windows Media Player from both PCs and it can show every channel right.

I think it is either a HDHomeRun-Driver-Problem or a MediaPortal-Problem. I have last updated drivers and firmware from Silcondust to 20150826 and I have updated Mediaportal to 1.12. So I can't say what makes this problems.

    I have...
    Okay.

    I think it is either a HDHomeRun-Driver-Problem
    I doubt it.

    or a MediaPortal-Problem.
    I also doubt this.

Now I've had more time to look at your log files. It looks like the tuning details that you scanned with don't match the network information table (NIT) in the stream. So, I wonder if the tuning details for your country/region/provider are out-of-date.

Which country and region/provider do you select when you scan?

    Hi,
I have selected "Germany" for Country and "Full" for Provider.

    Hmmm, okay. That's even stranger.

    An example...

In your last log file I see that you try to tune WDR Köln:
    [2015-09-03 15:28:17,959] [Log ] [20 ] [DEBUG] - card: user: MediaCenter:3:-1 tune DVBC:tv:ARD WDR Köln Freq:402000 ONID:1 TSID:1101 SID:28111 PMT:0x258 FTA:True LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod256Qam

In the TsWriter log file, the NIT shows:
    [2015-09-02 17:30:08,684] [8913780] [1638] - cable NIT: frequency:402000 modulation:3 symbolrate:6900

Modulation 3 means 64 QAM... but this differs from the 256 QAM in your tuning detail. That's why I thought maybe your tuning details were out-of-date.

However, when you scanned, you scanned both 64 QAM and 256 QAM, and the channel was only found when 256 QAM was used:

So, I'm not sure what's going on here.

Can you compare the tuning details in WMC and/or HDHR View with those in TV Server and see if there are any differences?

[edit: Also, can you tell me who your real cable provider is?]

    Hi,
I don't know where to find all these informations and how to compare.

My real cable provider is "Martens TV Deutsche Telekabel" formerly "Martens TV" which have fusioned with Deutsche Telekabel. But when I select "Deutsche Telekabel" as the provider it finds much less channels.

I think I must wait for a new driver from Silicondust or find a method to out an older firmware to the HDHomeRun.

In the meantime I have completely deleted all channels and made a few new channelscans but they does not find all the available channels and the most of the channels it finds are not accessible.

    Mit freundlichen Grüßen

    Jens

    Thanks Jens

I can tell you how to find the information in TV Server, but not in WMC or HDHR View.
    1. Open TV Server configuration.
    2. Go to the "TV Channels" section.
    3. Enter "WDR Köln" into the search/filter field.
    4. Double click (or select and click "edit") on the SD WDR Köln channel.
    5. Double click (or select and click "edit") on the tuning detail row in the lower part of the edit channel dialog.

My real cable provider is "Martens TV Deutsche Telekabel" formerly "Martens TV" which have fusioned with Deutsche Telekabel. But when I select "Deutsche Telekabel" as the provider it finds much less channels.
    Okay.
I can't find a frequency list on the Martens TV website.
You could try the attached tuning details (which I took from the NIT info).
Unzip the XML file and put it in c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbc. After that you will see the option "Martens TV" as an option in TV Server configuration.

I think I must wait for a new driver from Silicondust or find a method to out an older firmware to the HDHomeRun.
I really don't think this will help, because you said the tuner already works fine in WMC and HDHR View. Also, I know that the tuner is working fine with MP for other people.

    Hi,
    thanks for the Tuningparameterfile. :)
I will give it a try in the evening.
And I will try to find the configuration for some channels in HDHomeRun View or in the HDHomeRun Receiver.

It doesn't work with WMC (because it's Windows 10 on both PCs). Instead it works with Windows Media Player at both PCs.

    Hi,
I have used the new Tuningfile for Martens TV, have cleared all channels and made channelscans with all 4 HDHomeRun-Tuners. Every Tuner finds another list of channels. On all tuners RTL Television and VOX are missing. I don't have mapped all found channels to all tuners. Maybe it helps until there will be a solution with a new driver or a new MediaPortal-Version.

I have attached a new WatchDog-File. I have made the channelscans at this morning. Maybe someone can see what is going wrong.

What program do you use to view log4net-Logfiles?

    Mit freundlichen Grüßen

    Jens
