Do not use an old database, as could be corrupted, causing your problem and yes my dual works fine with MP.
So i know it's a pain setting things up from scratch, but it's the only way.

    regards

IMO, your trouble is that even if you use a dual card, you get it detected as 2 different cards. So you need to meet the multiple cards requirements, especially for didital cards. In that case you should have 2 important files registered in your system , that come with Win MCE RU2 (rollup update) that are essentials to run more than one card with MP. You also need a correct mpeg2 multiplexer.
Look for 'running multiple cards' in the forum or in the wiki.

And you definitely need to use Radlight Filter Manager to check that the two filters from the dual card patch have a) a path at all and b) the correct path to the patch files.

When I just run the .bat file provided with the dual tuners patch this is not the case. I needed to steal an extra file from MCE to get it working at all.

Mine i extracted to the teammediaportal folder and had no problems registering them, what was the other file you needed.
Radlight should be used with extreme care, if in doubt, don't use.

Yes, most people have no problem with the patch. I was running the included .bat file but when I checked the actual filter installed (using Radlight or any other filter organisation software) it would not be using the right files, or one of them would remain registered but with no path and stop me from viewing TV at all.

I recently had someone PM me with a similar problem. So just checking that the patch applied correctly rather than assuming is probably a good idea if there are still problems after the patch.

My response to the PM was as follows:
"The three files I had to register were:

    mpeg2data.ax
    PsiDecd.dll
    PsisRndr.ax

I think the last one is the extra file I needed to copy across? Just check the list against the current patch. It is a strange bug and one that caused me much frustration. I think at one point I would have System Restored about 20 times in a row. Nobody else seems to have a problem with the patch as is, so that is why I never bothered posting in depth details, as I thought it was just an issue with my setup somehow.

I hope this is helpful. If you need me to email you the files or whatever, just PM me what you need and an email address."

I don't know if the issue was just with my setup, or an issue with what windows updates/fixes have been installed, etc. The result, however, was that the patch didn't work at all in its current form. I even tried multiple times doing the actions from the patch in the command line, etc. It was highly frustrating and I could eventually only get it working by taking an extra file from MCE.
