Hey Guys
Im trying to get a view for my music
my folder structure on my drive is [Aritist] then [Album] then its [tracks]
But my tracks end up like this

anyone know why ??
my tags tell me all is ok

are you using shares view or database view?
ideally you should use database view.

How will i know what that is ?

Well the view is one i created

also how do i make the view i created the default one when opening my music section?

Are you using the 'Peter' view when you load My Music the 'peter' view would be a database view, My Music defaults to share view (which just does bare filnames, and doesn't use tags). I don't use xfactor skin, but i imagine you can change the view mode, it will have a list of options like 'shares view','artists view','album view','peter view' etc... To change the view mode you either have to navigate to the menu or use F9.

also how do i make the view i created the default one when opening my music section?

Mediaportal will remember the last used view when you go back into my music.

My Music defaults to share view (which just does bare filnames, and doesn't use tags).

i think it is still doing this even when i quit MP it loads the default Share view note the "Peter View"

F9 Does menu actions there is a select options and that has share/album/artist etc, but like i said my view is there i select it and it does not save it

your avatar looks depressed. when i load my music it defaults to last used view, perhaps ask in xfactor skin forum.

Have you also edited the Track view under MP Config - Music - Music Sort - Track
