If you move or delete the BlueTwo skin, Mediaportal will either try to reinstall it or state that the skin you're using is out of date (even if it's BlueTwo Wide). The two behaviours seem to depend on exactly how you launch Mediaportal; from a shortcut or by double-clicking on the executable.

Filemon from SysInternals shows that Mediaportal is looking for something in BlueTwo\references.xml. If you create a zero-byte file named references.xml, Mediaportal won't run.

    Hi,
This it's because of the installer, if you delete something it is detected as if your installation it's corrupt & re install whats wrong, thats the windows way ;)
Nothing to do about it, you just have to leave whats default installed even if you not need it.

    Regards
    Roy
