Mediaportal Properties #plot etc... (1 Viewer)

Good evening everyone,

I want to put the programme description on to my overlay. This is easy for television (#TV.View.description) and video (#Play.Current.Plot, #Play.Current.PlotOutline) but I am having difficulty finding a property for the currently playing Radio.

Is there no equivalent to #TV.View.description for radio?

I've been working through the list here: MediaPortal/MediaPortal-1

But having no luck at all.

There is #Radio.Recorded.Description for recorded radio, but I don't think that there is the equvalent for live radio.

I have attached my bumper list of built-in skin variables which you may find useful. I generated this list by scanning the entire MP source (downloaded from GitHub) looking for the string "#. This is not guaranteed to generate a correct list of skin variables. In particular:

• Some hits may not be skin variables.
• Some skin variables may be missing.
• Skin variables usually have values only in specific panels; this list does not tell you where the variables have valid values.

I manually edited the list to remove entries that were obviously not skin variables, but there may still be some invalid entries present.

There is #Radio.Recorded.Description for recorded radio, but I don't think that there is the equvalent for live radio.

Agree. I can't find anything. I would recommend this as an improvement that needs implementing.
