Hello friends,
here you can find a comparison table between the characteristics of all Open Source media centers posted by Telematics Freedom Foundation . It is not a review but it shows that MP is loaded with features compared to other MCs. It referrs to MP RC3 but I'm not sure if it is the 2010 version, or the 2009. Most probably it is the latter.

In terms of actual reviews/comparisons I found this one comparing MP to MCE ("Mediaportal V Media Center? Which to choose?")

A lot of good words for MP but the conclusion is in favour of MC... I guess that if the same review was done on today's very stable version of MP the outcome would be different. No?

Many thanks Chris for all that work and a great list. We did have some of those older ones, and I had seen the Telematics Floss Media Center Comparison Chart but never added it. It is the only detailed comparison in existence afaik and was done in 2008 so kind of out of date already. So although not a review, I did add it to our Press Reviews page as it is quite unique. Did not have the HTPC Blog review which was quite nice and had missed the software informer review in 2008. Thanks again.
These reviews also help us create a list of reviewers to add to our press contacts list to send press releases to in future. So keep up the good work everyone!
