I still have this issue with the last SVN 24669. Created a lot of logfiles as requested. In the logs of 10-01-2010 you can see this between 16:34 - 16:41. Many times :-( Realy BAD for WAF.
I switched between Hustler TV=>SBS6=>Hustler TV etc. and NED1=>NED2=>NED3 and back. All these channels are in my normal subscription (basic subscription of Canal Digitaal).
You can see how annoying this is. :-( If i press just OK in the popup CI menu it continues tuning to the channel but it should not popup in the first place.

    Running thread about this: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...sly-rights-check-69810/index6.html#post559083

If you need anything else let me know. :D

    Hi!

I get no channel info nor group or tv guide Information. Empty channel list and TV Gudie. If I start a stream manually in TV Server config, i can watch the stream on the client!?

    Hi,

Firstly big :D for this release, much improved so far. HD with cyberlink now works nicely and I can switch channels no problem, which incidentally seems a little faster.

Couple of minor issues and help on existing issues:

    1) I didn't want to have to rescan all my channels so instead, I exported and re-imported all my channel settings. When I re-imported I stupidly duplicated everything (even though I was warned) so I deleted all channels and re-import. However, now nothing was selected as "visible in guide", so the export/import seems to not save/load this flag.

    2) I manually need to check this "visible in guide" flag again, so I highlight the channels in the config grid under a group called "Used Channels", and then ticked the box. However, when I switch to view a different group (going back to All Channels) my ticks are lost. Turns out that the only way it persists these "visible in guide" ticks is to tick them on the "All Channels" group view (couldn't get any other group to work), then on the tree nav on the left, select "TV Combinations". If you then go back to "TV Channels", the ticks are persisted. Ideally, ticking in any grid and then switch away to any view should persist these ticks, but I finally found the secret path.

    3) This is more of an enhancement but I'd thought I'd ask anyway. I have a two groups called "Used Channels" which has all the channels I actually use (about 90 odd from the hundreds I can tune into) and "Rubbish" which has everything else. I really only want the channels in the "Used Channels" to be used. Hence in MP Client, the "Group Selector" on the far left of the TV Guide becomes redundant if not confusing because some family members :)rolleyes:) switch the group to the rubbish group and then everyone moans as to "Where have my channels gone?". I know we have an option of "Hide 'All Channels' group" in the MP config tool. Can this be changed to "Only show these groups" and you tick the ones you want, in my case I'd only tick the "Used Channels". As a bonus, it would be great that if only one group was selected, then the group selector completely went away from the Skinned UI, making more room for the guide and "user error" proof. BTW, the reason I have these groups is so that I don't have to re-categorise channels on each scan.

    4) Some people have mentioned how after watching recorded TV, MP freezes / black screens. Which I have seen too but I noticed if you just press "back" then the "record tv" screen re-appears.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

    Giulio

Ok, found a solution/workaround in another thread.

After I've added a radio channel (to the TV card) and a IP-TV channel in TV-Server config, the channel list and the TV Guide is working. I don't use both but it seems one mapped channel is needed !?

    AC3 "bug" 2618 nearly solved

    Hi gibman!

some feedback and thx for your (sure the team also) great work ...
0002618: [Configuration] AC-3 audio stream is not selected by MediaPortal when only "Prefer AC-3 sound" option is enabled (gibman) - resolved.

Select AC3 works now. It works with and without "prefer audio over lagnuage" enabled.

Zapping speed is much faster than before. Unfortunally without "prefer AC3 sound" zapping is about 2-3 sec. faster.

If you need any further information, plz let me now.

I cant have different codecs on the new configpage in MP config, Codecs and Renderer. If I have ATI MPEG video decoder as my MPEG2 Video decoder I must have the same in H.264 Video decoder. If I select Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder as my H.264 decoder it will change my MPEG2 Video decoder as well to the same.

I used to have different decoders here.

    Running Win 7 and MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot:-01-08-2010 02-15h - Revision:24669.rar. No problem with Beta 1.1.

MS DTV codec won't work properly with another codec in the graph, so if you use it for H264 then it's selected also for MPEG2 and the other way arround: 0002524: MS DTV-DVD filter and another H.264 codec in same graph causes issues - MediaPortal Bugtracker
