Great SVN release boys and girls.

No bugs as yet, however a function issue, when viewing normal TV and you click stop, you then click yes to confirm but instead of returning you to the same channel in the TV guide it takes you back to the top channel in the list - would be better to return you to the last channel viewed in the guide list.

Hope that makes sence.

Another little problem:
LiveTV
If you enter channel number greater than available TV channels list, it will continue with radio channels.
Even this is wrong. If I have 190 TV channels, it should not allow me to enter 222.
Also, tuning into radio station actually even works, but MP interface then "freezes". Normal control keys don't work any more, but Alt + F4 does...

And yet another:
Switching TV channels doesn't clear timeshift buffer.
This can lead to problems if I do rewind to a point that was on a previously watched channel.

And yet another (sigh):
Some radio stations just won't play. Attached logs show numerous errors in TsReader. The attached .ts plays just fine in MPC HC.
Can't figure out why. I tries modifying soome parameters of MPITVSource, but it didn't help. I don't think MPIPTVSource is the culprit.

What the heck, here's another:
I think the warning dialog when STOP is pressed in LiveTV (timeshift buffer will be lost) is totally unnecessary.

Sorry, I am able to reproduce another minor issue, on resuming playback of a film (avi move x 2), clicking yes to resume seems to take you into the second avi file rather than the first one.

For example, two AVI files making up the full movie (mp sees them as two CD images, thats fine), if the previous viewing was halfway thorugh the first AVI it will take you to halfway through the second AVI on resume.

Do you need logs?

No errors seen, just does not work as expected.

(USA clear QAM)HD Homerun last working SVN 11-30-2009--21-44-Rev24281.

If I choose cable in the HD homerun program, MP sets my card as DVB-C and I can't tune USA clear QAM. If I choose antenna in the HD Homerun program, MP sets card as ATSC and will scan for channels but none are found. I have checked box to scan for QAM instead of antenna

1. When deleting a recording, the empty directory isn't beeing deleted.

2. When I delete an existing recording, while other programs are currently recording, it says they're gonna be deleted in the logfiles (manually deleting Wegmisbruikers but Death Proof & The hard corps are beeing recorded):

With this SVN my MP goes in and out of "Not responding" at start-up
MediaPortal starts up just fine, but when on the basic homescreen the system aren't responding, or it responds with an 10-20 seconds delay.

Have tried making a complete uninstall of MP to see if it helps resolving the problem, but so far without any luck.
Same result if MP is windowed or fullscreen.
Operation system is Windows 7

Just tried some various SVN' and the problem seems to be introduced in the 24553-svn (24281 works just fine)

I have made some test with Haali and first beta version :

I make clean install of Beta1 rev23491.

Directvobsub in subtitle setup :
With this version, i can use Directvobsub and Haali to open sub embeded and external, change audio source and see OSD.

With the last version and surely before, i can use with the same setup Directvobsub and haali but there are issue :

For AVI (no OSD but srt is read but i can't stop it)
For MKV Embeded (no OSD but srt is read but i can't stop it)
And with MKV and subtitle external file .srt i can load and stop SUB and OSD is here.

Otherwise with MPC-HC enable in subtitle setup :

For AVI (OSD, Audio and SUB) -> OK
For MKV Embeded (OSD, Audio and SUB) -> OK
For MKV and subtitle external file .srt (OSD, Audio and SUB) -> OK

And if i disable Subtitle in config, i can also have OSD and Audio but not sub (it's normal).

Can i have help to give you a lot and Good information to resolve the issue ?
I think it was with renderer or something like that.


Ps : With MPC MKV Splitter and first beta, i have the following :
MPC-HC Subtitle and Directvobsub :
For AVI (OSD, Audio and SUB) -> OK
For MKV Embeded OSD -> OK, No OSD for SUB and Audio
For MKV and subtitle external file .srt OSD and OSD for SUB -> OK, No OSD for Audio

Ok, this issue ...

I have:

• 1x floppydtv-s + AlphaCrypt CAM + Smartcard
• 1x floppydtv-s2 + AlphaCrypt CAM + Smartcard
• 1x firedtv-s2 + EasyTV CAM + Smartcard

And i have absolutelly no issues here on Windows 7 prof 64bit, and had none in the past with WinXP 32 bit.
Using Windows 7 DTV DVD codecs - also tested with MPC-MPV and coreavc.

When users report issues with paytv, then the most common causes are:

• on W7 legacy firewire mode/driver must be used!
• outdated fire/floppydtv drivers
• outdated fire/floppydtv firmware
• outdated CAM firmware
• broken CI in fire/floppydtv
• broken CAM

Think actually made me dig deeper in this and I begin to suspect that my two cams are old and shitty. They are from different manufacturers but show the same software version in CI menu and this partucular sw-version has been reported as troublesome for others than me, So tomorrow I'm gonna buy a new CAM and try that one out and hopefully my soul can finally get some peace.

Can any of you help me with understanding what is wrong after upgrade to latest SVN?

I get this message Cannot play: Stream3.0 ? (Kan ikke afspille: stream3.0 in danish).

The client is on win7 x86 and server is on win7 x64

As I said before it did work before I upgraded.

i also have win7 x64 as server, it works just after the tvserver service is started. But if the server has been in standby or hibernation, the tvserver service has to be restarted to get it to work?!?!?

try to run a netstat -a to see if you have two tvserver ports listening. I think the port is not removed/reused after standby/hibernation.

Thanks for the new svn!

As with the previous SVN, MP stops working when stopping/pausing a recorded TV-recording. I saw mantis-0002604 was closed but not resolved? Attached the logs.

After replacing TXreader.ax with the one Tourettes provided in previous SVN thread, all worked fine again.
