Re: MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot:-01-08-2010 02-15h - Revision:24669.rar

I have two tv cards. I have series which i want to record on three channels (each on a different frequency), these are scheduled some time ago with "record each time on this channel". So, this is not going to work. In the TV guide however i can not see that one of them will not record. Is this correct? t is at least very confusing if you do not pay attention and know which channels are on which transponder.

If i plan new recordings (one time only?) i do get warning messages as long as i do not plan a recording on the two frequencies that are already recording.

Hopefully meaningfull logs attached.

Ok, thanks Simone and sorry that I haven't search first in the bugtracker.

New issue that I cant search for:
When I start My TV I can see some kind of windowsbars a very, very short period before the TV starts and sometimes when I go back to the EPG timeline. I haven't this with a MP 1.1 without SVN (this is my first SVN on my Beta 1.1).

    What the heck, here's another:
I think the warning dialog when STOP is pressed in LiveTV (timeshift buffer will be lost) is totally unnecessary.

    +1

Half of the users think the other way around, maybe they have kids that will push stop button by accident and that causes timeshifting buffer to get deleted. (I personally don't like that feature, but one more stop button press is not that much).

So, that feature is not going to be changed.

How about a configuration check box then? So that the other half of users can opt out of this feature?

Please just press 2 times STOP and that's all. No need for a new param for such small task...

    Hi,

For beginning :) Great SVN but and yes i have "but" :)
Here's a bug I think... I also noticed this on the previous couple of SVN's.

Directvobsub don't work correctly on Subtitle embedded in MKV and AVI with .srt -> NO OSD show when i press L(SUB) or Y(INFO) also on Remote.

    With

    MPC-HC all work's.

I have past some hour to test it and make different solution for container Haali or MPC Matroska but no luck.
I decided to make clean Install of Beta1 rev23491 and Directvobsub works correctly.

Does anybody have seen this issue ?
I have tested on second computer and the same result.

    Regards,
    Sebastiii.

Is it just me, or is the playback choppy when 24hz is applied? It seems like everything in mediaportal is slowed down when 24hz is applied, including the menus. Other material plays fine. And no problem when I set 24hz material to 50hz.

MP GUI is slow as it is rendered based on the FPS, not based on the time difference. This wont be ever fixed for MP1.

    Hi,
got the same problem, but I found out that if you select "disabled" in subtitles section the OSD works again and Directvobsub too! Maybe this helps the Devs to nail it down?!

Just noticed a little something which is probably not a bug but is slightly annoying

I have been having trouble with slow zapping (another thread for that) amd with latest SVN if I change channel the OSD works now :) but the screen goes black after about a second and the OSD disappears.

Previously when taking a while to tune the OSD remained on screen which at least made you think MP was still working and also actually gave you time to read the zap OSD

logs of zap from one channel and back attached

Problem confirmed and fixed in SVN 24710

TV-guide seems to be fast now, but there is one issue. When I press ok on a program to set a recording, it is very slow to move to next screen. It is also quite slow to actually set the recording. This has been a problem since I installed the previous SVN (clean install with MySQL), before that I had 1.0 (with MsSQL) which was faster on this part.

Otherwise all is well and I'm very pleased that this is the biggest issue for me.
