Hi,

Started up System with MP switched to the german Pro7 and tried to stop tv... crash no response only last Frame on screen and no reaction had to taskkill mp.

And with this sample, also MP 1.0.2 is crashing on my system.

The fact that MediaPortal 1.0.2 crashes with this sample shows that this is not new to 1.1.0beta SVNs.

If you are able, with a clean install of 1.0.2, to play this problem channel reproducibly, then it would suggest that some aspect of the way the file is written has changed since 1.0.2, and this is causing the problem.

Assuming this is the case, we need to know which SVN version the problem was introduced in. You would need to try clean 1.1.0beta, and then each build in turn to see when the problem was introduced. Maybe it was before 1.1.0beta, but a clean 1.1.0beta test would confirm this.

Either way, I think this thread is the wrong place to discuss this issue now. The problem cannot be quickly resolved, and is not specific to this SVN - nor is it extremely common or other people would be reporting it.

Can I suggest that you open a thread in this part of the forum MediaPortal 1.1.0 BETA 1 - MediaPortal Forum for this bug, and hopefully the team will be able to help.

When playing back MKVs MediaPortal seems to the 'Original Display Aspect Ratio' flag rather than the 'Display Aspect Ratio' flag causing video to be displayed at the wrong aspect. File plays back at correct aspect ratio in VLC, WMP and MPC-HC. Tried different decoders in MP with no effect. Below is the MediaInfo from a problem file. Files without the 'Original Display Aspect Ratio' play back correctly.

Still cannot tune or scan with kworld dvb-s 100 (conexant)..
This card worked without a single problem before mp 1.02 until last few svn.
I did not try all svn, latest working svn that i've tried is 23831.

If you could confirm (and provide logs) that this works with 23831 but not with 23978, this would help, as we would know where to look.

MP just crashed after trying to play a DVD.

This was a single event. After restarting the PC, the DVD could be played with no issues.
