    Re: AW: Re: AW: MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot:-02-06-2010 13-59h - Revision:24975.rar

Since SVN 24923 MP crashs while playing h264 files - havn't watched any SD since (first one is always shown fine, but while playing a second or third it crashs - this has been fixed for some SVNs but now returns).
In Systemlog I find the following:

    ID: 1023
    Source: .NET RunTime
".NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.3603 - Schwerwiegender Fehler im Ausführungsmodul (7A09795E) (80131506)."

    It's always the same error.
I'll try to create some logs asap

Playing them in TV or Video? What type of h264 files? mkv or ts? Even without logs, you haven't provided enough information to give anyone a clue whether there is a problem with MediaPortal or just with your computer.

Yes, sorry, my fault :( :sorry:

Video and MKV files (no TV installed). Up to build 24669 everything was fine.

Didn't change anything else in my setup.

Sorry, just arrived from work, so no logs yet :(

ok, I'll reboot my machine first and then go for the logs...

Please do provide logs, but for information, I am playing x264 mkv files all the time here, and I have seen no problems at all.

I suspect your problems are codec/graphics drivers related. If 24669 worked for you, it would be worth checking if it is still working.

    Re: Will teletext remain unusable..

There is one open issue of Texture manager, is
this issue connected to Teletext ?

Teletext crash is most likely out of memory related -> result of that one open texture manager issue (leaking currently textures :)).

    Okay.

I took a test. and reverted GUITextureManager.cs to 24521 rev(Tortoise show log rev for GUITextureManager file). and it's
ok now. I have not done any deeper analysis of code, but there is difference using "foreach" and "for" clauses runing backwards, for cached textures table, as well as how disposing is done.

    Re: MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot:-02-06-2010 13-59h - Revision:24975.rar

    Hi all,

I've had some issues with this SVN and the last one which I couldn't put my finger on.

but heres what I've found at the moment (will do some proper logs, which will take a few days to do)

    1: with a clean install of Win7 64 bit
no drivers installed for video card (8800GTA) using the the MS drivers
no codec installed (select MS Codec)
2: installed the Beta 1.1 MP
3: added Line21-2 and core CC parser in "Videos" post processing
4: viewing CC when watching DVD (uses Line 21-2)
5: viewing CC when watching TS (uses Line 21-2 with Core CC Parser)
6: graphedit shows proper connections for both viewings (as stated in the Video settings)
no issues.. even switched between them both and graphedit shows the new connections.

    installed the lastest (this SVN)

1: post procesing will not connect (Line 21-2) for DVD viewing
(added Line 21-2) to DVD postprocessing as well.
Graphedit displays the Line 21-2 but not connected
2: Added Line 21-2 and core parser to Television's post processing
3: able to view CC in the TS file.
4: unable to test the video part as I don't have a sample of a video file with CC (or that would use a post processer)

I will have to reinstall win7 and create logs with the beta 1.1 along with graphs
then go a few SVN back and do some logs there and finally logs for this SVN.

you might say that you can't support CC or Line21 and I have to beg to please consider this as it's equilvent to Teletext.

(I have installed codec such as SAF and Cyberlink9 and wow did this make viewing unbearble/stuttering... but thats another story/logs)

I have detected an unusual problem since this svn: Mediaportal is not able to play any avi-files on my setup.

It appears that you are using VMR9. Is this correct? Have you tried changing to EVR in config, since this would be default for your OS.

Even if config tells you that you are using EVR, click on VMR9 and then again on EVR.

    Mark

PS. Haali Media Splitter should not be relevant - this is just for mkv files, and is not a codec.

logging in mp lies when it comes to VMR9 / EVR or DirectX exclusive mode :)

could u try and compile and test this patch.

    now using forward while loops.

ard and zdf have MPEG + AC3 audio, no AAC afaik.
    i have uploaded the buffer-file to http://macgyver.karmafish.net/live3-0.ts.tsbuffer1.ts ( 185mb ).

after 20 seconds there is the channel change from anixe.hd to zdf.hd.
in mpc i get the garbage video described by alexirion with (coreavc 2.0 without cuda on a different computer).
the mpc-hc and microsoft codec work fine in mpc.
playing in MP my video ( coreavc 2.0 and ms-dtv codec ) the picture freezes and the sound stops while the timeline continues.
the gui is still responsive and i can stop the playback.

Could you try this TsReader, I think it should solve this issue. ( looks like Coreavc and ms-dtv need to be disconnected/reconnected to graph on each HD format change ... size / interlacing / fps ... )

    Aren't you missing

    Code:
    i++;

from while loop in patch file starting in line 353 in patch file ?

    Looks like infinity loop. :)

    Regards,

Sill sad news. Teletext works only once with this patch.

    Hi Ambass.

Thank you for looking into this problem, I tried your new TsReader for my problem described here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...cording-attached-76444/index2.html#post563727

And with the ts -file I had uploaded. I placed the Ts-file in "my video" folder, and found out that actually both the old TsReader and the new one was able to play the file just fine, even the change from a mpeg2 channel to a mpeg4 channel. BUT when the Ts-file was recorded the screen went black at the moment the channel changed. And this is reproducible.
So it seems that the file can play in my video folder, but during recording the channel shift produces an error? Is that possible?
