is there anything done with problems playing 1080i? and why are all mei postings and log files deleted?

    i really don't unterstand this!

I can find one of your posts

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/574327-post37.html

I can also confirm that no posts from you in this thread have been deleted. If you have a post deleted, you will get a private message informing you of this.

There is a lot of work going on to improve playback. However, integrated graphics may not be as good as a dedicated graphics card. How does windows rate your graphics performance? This would be a useful indicator.

    Best wishes,

doesn't work for me. in fact everything seems slower and mp hangs a lot when using coreavc.

    so with coreavc switching from anixe.hd ( 1080i/mpeg4 ) to zdf.hd ( 720p/mpeg4 ) still causes a complete crash.
with the ms-dtv codec no crash, just no picture and a slow gui where i can change to another program. ( sometimes even no gui, but channel+ key works ).

but the main problem is that in 50% of the channel changes from an mpeg2 program (using cyberlink codec ) to zdf.hd mediaportal hangs completely with coreavc.
with the ms codecs everything ( except anixe.hd -> zdf.hd) works, but it seems that changing channels is slower than before.

Please, try in singleseat, because RTSP could trigger other problem.
I've checked here between 720p and 1080i channels, it was a beautiful garbage with coreavc before, now it works...

i'm sorry, can't do that. my client is an ion-system without tv cards ( and withouth pci ).
and i only got 2 pci-dvb-c cards in my server.
and since my server is permanently installed in the cellar with no monitor attached i can't test it there, too.

I didn't yet saw the new tsPlayer from yesterday evening. I will give it a try on my single seat system with the ms and the coreavc codec and I will report, then.

    hmm,

thx for your answer. i think the core i3 graphic should haver power enouth. windows index is 4.7. it's faster than a 780i in deinterlacing. and in vista and 1.0.2 it works ;-)
if there is a new svn i will test again :)

    Hi guys

This might be an odd problem, but here goes.

After i have installed this svn build the text can be stretched all over the screen - or simply dissapear.
It can happen with text in the names of music or in "time/date/year" in the top of the screen.

Furthermore mp can "crash" in moving pictures, which it didnt do before this release. And by crash i mean that only background is visible when switching to a movie in the list. It is random and can not be triggered by anything else but looking through all movies in the list.
It is possible to recover by selecting next movie in the list, but it is kinda odd anyway.

Do you have any idea of what i am talking about, or should i try to trigger and make a screenshot ?

    Kindly Regards

    Henrik

Note: There was, unfortunatly, no LSD in my coffee this morning - so that is not the problem with the stretched text.

I've massive problems with the new german HD channels:
ZDF HD and ARD HD looking at the evr.log and tsreader.log it looks really strange - like redetecting something every few seconds.

    Logs attached.

Nothing but errors in the TsReader.log :)

    Also:

    12-02-2010 19:41:49.497 [ba8]New media type successfully negotiated!

This means that EVR renderer is notified (by EVR mixer., which is most likely notified by the H.264 decoder...) about a new media type. Eihter broadcaster is sending bad content or the video codec is triggering that on some cases where the stream has a discontinuity point (error in the signal or TsWriter).
