The TV group All Channels are created every time if it was deleted before on a german system!
Code:
2008-05-17 10:42:15.792081 [Info.][MPMain]: get all groups from database
2008-05-17 10:42:15.928176 [Info.][MPMain]: group:All Channels not found. create it
I have a Group "Alle Kanäle" in the Groups, i dont need a second one in it.... i dont need any group with about 6000 channels... it slows down the system
is it possible that groups can be activated which should displayed in MP?
i meann i need only the groups that i created.
That was a change in one of the latest SVNs. The group which contains all channels is now always called "All Channels" independent of the system language. This was a desired change and is not a bug.
Expert & standard mode could be very interesting features for newbie user. good choice.
I suggest another stuff for that issue. In standard mode could be usefull an option to lock the video codec
to the "mpc video decoder" of Media Player Home Cinema
for h.264/avc1/wvc1 it support dxva/dxva2 mode wuth new nvidia/ati card HD series card.
with this embedded video decoder M.P. could be open probably the 95% of video container without any other
codec and newbie could be happy for it. no damn codec pack or another hugly stuff.
ps: imho probably the best combination in MP could be the MPC video decoder and (under Vista) a custom
presenter evr rendering to able MP to work with MPC video decoder in dxva2 mode also with subtitle.
Problems with radio playback are still present. Did not remeber when exactly the problems were introduced.
First attempt to play a radio channel fails. Second attempt works. When switching channels playback is interrupted for a short period and then the current channel continues to play for some time (5 to 20 seconds) then switching to the selected channel occurs.
