I've the problem, that if i press go to standby - the PC is going to standby even if a recording is running - so tvservice does not prevent standby...

Can't confirm this. Here hibernation is prevented when recording is active. Didn't check with standby but would assume to be the same.

Only effects Vista, not xp, thats why you do not experience this.

Another + for using xp as OS :)

With this release I have the problem that sometimes I have no sound when switching on TV. Let's say you switch on/off TV three times for one time I get no audio. Seriously I don't encounter any sound problems (so far) when switching between channels. I did not find anything in the logs however they are attached anyway.

What still is a bit ugly is that if you play back a movie (DVD) from harddisk having no DVD menu, it is always played back with subtitles turned on. Is there no way to prevent this. I only want to have subtitles if explicity selected.
    Only on this SVN?

DVDs should display subs automatically only if they are mastered that way, in your case if DVD ripping software makes subs to display by default. Before DVD subtitles has obeyed remastered data just fine on MP, haven't tested on this SVN. Please note that I haven't played with MP's automatic subtitle selection setting on DVD as I always leave those settings off.

Radio: changing channels still not OK

Previously reported channel changing issues (20 sec problem) are still there. Actually it seems to have gotten worse since time to change a channel is now longer than 20 second.

    Simone,

I can certainly add logs, however, it won't be of much value unless radio channel change works right for you. The issue was resolved in SVN 19376 but reappeared in later SVN's and has been there ever since. I did not check the last two SVN's as I was on vacation.

Hence let me know if Radio is OK for you, in which case it would definitely be linked to my configuration.

    Regards, J.
