Couple of words about DVD issues.

    1. 3rd party plugins may not work properly after core changes and I see that you are launching DVD from one. Try MyVideos and all should work.

    2. Not all corrections get into this SVN. If you start DVD from Play shortcut or by clicking item in MyVideos then all is ok. Some menu shortcuts are not working correctly in this SVN.

    3. After core changes focus and fullscreen is not selected automatically anymore in g_player but the question is should player do that or should plugin authors update their code?

Now heading to airport and will be away for a week.

No, same issue here in MyVideo!

Thanks for your work and have a nice trip!

I installed the latest SVN, configured the TV Server & MediaPortal successfully. When I start MP for the first time, I get an Out of Memory message box, but the error log shows an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error. Logs attached...

I've also tried Blue3Wide with the exact same results (see attached MediaPortal Blue3Wide)...

    @tourettes,
Do you have any ideas why MP is bombing on startup?

    Thanks!

Maybe you could try clearing the skin cache. C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache

Also the skin author should move those HUGE textures into non-cached folder :) Caching big textures is only causing trouble (no performance benefit and it will block smaller textures getting cached).

Thanks for the quick reply. I have tried to clear the cache several times. I even uninstalled MP & the TV Server, reinstalled Beta 1 then applied the latest SVN with the same results (do I need to apply both SVN's in order?). I even went as far as setting permissions on the cache folder to everyone full access to see if it was a permissions issue.

(Maybe MP doesnt have access to the non-cache folder? Where is that located?)<-- Nevermind about that question....

    Thanks again for the help!

EDIT - FIXED: I found out it was all the images in the Thumbs folder causing the issue. As soon as I cleard the MovingPictures, TV Series, My Netflix and Fan Art images, it loaded fine...

Either we have a bug in MP or those plugins are using wrong folders to store their thumbnails. What folder that was?

    Im not sure :(

After a fresh install, I will usually copy the MovingPictures, Fan Art, Netflix and TV Series Thumbs from a backup folder to the current c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs folder. I ended up removing the folders, and running the MovingPictures, Netflix & TVSeries configs to rebuild the thumbs folders. After that everything seems fine. Maybe there was an image that MP didnt like or disagreed with?

Audio Continuity error... in Tsreader with AC3

    Hi,

After installing this SVN I have a problem with one channel (National Geographic Channel HD).

When I select the AC3 audio stream, the channel starts stuttering heavily due to an Audio Continuity error... in Tsreader.
I tried the previous Tsreader and the channel doesn't stutter with AC3.

Maybe it is related to an error in the stream of National Geographic Channel, because it only happens with this channel.

Please find attached the log files.

    Thanks,
