The same problem TVservice

Hi, I install this new SVN and have the same problem with start of TvService.

I followed instructions of past post but do not worked

My machine works with Vista32 Home Premium and the new TV Pack 2008 of MCE.

And I have another seriusly problem with recording programs, with RC2 or any SVN:

For Start record a channel, if do not Stop TV, Start TV and channel change for other Freq. If not follow the sequence, the record not start.....

I read the EPG problems with Hebrew, are very similar my Language is spanish but I follow the solution purposed, not worked....

If have a solution please post it.

I have the same issue with the TVService. Although being started, the configuration utility cannot connect to the service. Restarting the service does not help either.

bug as stated in previous version (click here for info) is still present.

I have the same issue with the TVService. Although being started, the configuration utility cannot connect to the service. Restarting the service does not help either.

Cannot confirm the tvservice not available error as reported above several times (perhaps because I have a multi seat setup?)

I guess there'se some BIG bug on the lat SVN of the tv service

it's 2AM and, trying to solve th "unable to greate graph" error, I've lost all the TV functionality of MP....
sorry to complain but I'm a little frustrated.... I guess I'll watch divx for a day or two

Exception :The columns preload, CAM in table Card do not exist.

somehow these 2 new fields were not added.
U can add it urself if u know how to.

I've not been able to use the last few SVN's because there seems to be a problem with the TVservice, it seems to be running, but the server front end seems to think it isn't and it just loops round complaining that the service isn't running.

I have this to be the case for the last few updates, as soon as I go back to RC2 it's fine. I have of course tried unistalling everything first more than once to no avail.

i have the same problem but as there are important updates in every new svn what i do is launch a bat file that restarts the tvservice, then everything works fine.

taskkill /f /im tvservice.exe
net start tvservice

TV service problems here too. It seems to crash when a recording is supposed to start. I have to start tv service again by starting up tv server setup. After that the recording start correctly.
EDIT: Oh, this comment was supposed to be added to the previous svn, not this one, but it seems to be in this svn too given the reactions here..

I spent a few hours in IRC #mediaportal channel with user rolfey. We fixed the same issue with a deep cleanup using this script: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/improvement-suggestions-46/full-directory-cleanup-during-uninstall-31291/. Works fine in both XP and Vista.
