I also noticed when I press the pause button in MP TVSeries that the pause screen no longer shows times or synopsis. It does pause full frame. Is this related to the pause key action or MP TVSeries?

Have you changed any mappings, is your MediaPortal install using defaults?

Try pressing SpaceBar on the keyboard, does everything appear then? Is it only in TVSeries or all plugins?

This happens with the keyboard and the remote. It also is across plugins.

I have not changed a single mapping, I just noticed that VASkO had the same issue but fixed it by changing his mappings. This is a fresh install, and my first under Windows 7. I have it on 3 vista boxes and an XP with no issues.

Guess I double posted when it belonged here all along. Sorry about that.

The group "All channels" is not created for radio-channels by default, so when you add radio-channels (without creating a group) the EPG is blanked:

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-doesnt-work-when-radio-channels-added-71439/

I have been in contact with 4-5 users on the forum with same problem. You might want to fix it before RC1, as this is the root of a lot of frustration.

The solution is simple: create the group "All channels". I just tested this out on a new PC, clean install of MP with Windows 7 64-bit. The radio-channels doesn't need to be in the group, but the group must be named "All channels".

This "undocumented feature" should be considered a bug ;)

can you be more specific what kind of radio channels you mean? all dvb based radio channels are correctly added.

do you mean analog radio/tv channels? I just checked the code, this can be the source....

Oh...should have mentioned that I and others seem to have problems with webstreams only. At least I haven't heard from anyone saying they have problems with DVB-T/Analog etc.

added to mantis: 0002533: New channels are not always added to "AllChannels" group (specially Radio) - MediaPortal Bugtracker

Anyone know why I am getting this failure? (see attached pictures)
Dont know causes this, but it was after configuring all my personal settings inside MP configuration. All seems to work, but not the volume control when I am inside MP.
I tried to move back to a clean windows 7 x 64 and reinstall 1.1beta and this svn. But the same happened again...

I had the same issue when I changed the volume control settings. Try setting them back to the default.

I have tried that, but when I try to change from Master control to wave it just jumps back to master control when I press ok at the bottom and then I get the failure.

WaitForRecordingFile - video was found, but audio was not found

Just installed after the previous SVN lost 50% of todays Freeview radio recordings to the "WaitForRecordingFile" problem I reported earlier. And the new SVN is worse, its now screwing up simultaneous TV recordings from the same mux with a "WaitForRecordingFile - video was found, but audio was not found".

Any easy way I can suppress that test? So far, where I've caught it in time, the audio has actually been there.

Just a theory: Freeview includes 2 audio tracks, one at low bitrate and almost always completely silent. I use Media Player Classic to play the MP created .ts files and occasionally it cant find an audio track, however ProjectX can and remultiplexing gets my sound working. Maybe MP is creating malformed stream mappings?

    Hi dev's :)

I guess were getting close :)

I have some minor and some major problems ....

I will start of with a major ...
After installing this SVN on the client side there is a wait of +/- 20 seconds on the first tune request to the server.
    Is this done intentionally ??

If so, is it adjustable ?

If not intentional .. i have logs ready for this problem.

My specs Windows 7 server, windows 7 client, 2 * Floppy DTV DVB-C + cam and saf 4

    Louis

Anyone has got this problem .... i have 3 clients and all have the same problem ???

    Any help appreciated

    UPDATE:

I found the problem is already known, windows 7 has a firewall problem :-(
