Just made a small recording on the new danish dr hd, but my client freezes short time after I play it on my client. The recording works fine on my tvserver (with client). All other recording work fine on the client.

Need your system specs but if running windows 7 then is it

Win7 on both client and server. The recording works fine on server, but not on client. Both with this svn and MS codecs.

ozra i did change to another router to fix the problem, but a think you can disable "dns relay" in your router if its there.
The router that did not work was a D-link and now I have a netgear that works, shall test to disable "dns relay" to see if I can get my d-link router to work.

If your D-link is a DIR-655, it's definately a problem with DNS relay on.

In this SVN there is a change of <label>#Play.Current.Title</label> to <label>#TV.View.channel</label> in common.play.progressbar.xml in Blu3wide skin. As a result you see only TV information even you play back a video file in My Videos.

sigh, MediaPortal is VERY UNSTABLE for me lately watching recordings, sometimes live tv also.
while watching recordings, MediaPortal often hangs (screen is freezing, hickups, etc, etc).

can anyone take a look a my logging and tell me why MediaPortal is having trouble playing my recordings ???

Hi,

I am using this SVN version and found an issue:

There is one and only one HD channel that shows the subtitles very small (lets say 1pixel) at the left top of the screen. This channel is a new one from provider, all the others are fine.

I am using Win 7, but the same issue happens in a Vista client, so I think that is not OS related.

The provider is from Brazil and is DVB-C. How can I send a file so you can take a look?

sigh, just happened again while watching a recording, could been the recording stopped and MP crashed ?

bump, can someone look at my logging ?
every time I file a bug, or send logging, etc I don't get any response from Team MediaPortal, that's a bit frustating.

looks like the playback trouble has something to do while the system is recording new programs.
when MediaPortal is recording, playing existing recordings is a disaster (a lot of freezes and complete playback hanging).

could it be that programs, currently recording, do not have the preview thumbnails created and MediaPortal is having trouble creating thumbnails of the currently running recordings ???
