MediaPortal TV Server 1.5 Crashing (Out of Memory Exception) (1 Viewer)

I just checked and see I had the TvServer-Configuration app running since the 10th Oct have just closed it down and memory dropped right back to 76M! Over 5hrs it has grown back to 611m see attachment.

Right, that is odd - what section was TV Server configuration sitting in?

Using one DVB-T tuner and monitoring the stream in the manual control section of TV Server configuration...
After about 1 hour memory has increased by about 100 KB.
Total memory used by TvService.exe is currently 60944 KB.

Another half hour and memory is 60928 KB.
I'm certainly not seeing the massive bloat that you're seeing...

For that first 1.5 hours I was watching a single channel. After doing a bunch of channel changes memory increased to 61104 KB. This is still within the realms of normal memory usage.

On closing TV Server configuration memory actually increased briefly to 61176 KB, then dropped back to 61128 KB.

In conclusion, here on XP I'm not seeing the same behaviour as you... unless I'm not doing what is required to trigger the leak.

Heres some more info it doesn't seem to be related to TVservice-configuration being open, results from last night and this morning!
From when I posted yesterday it just kept increasing slowly, when I went to bed it was at 1,475,512kb when I checked this morning it had returned to 50,388kb see attachments.
I don't want you to waste your time, so I will monitor a few days and see if I can see any trends then give you an update. If you want any specific info please let me know.

i have the same problem. tvserver.exe memory use is growing (60K per second) no matter what i do (watch tv or not, keep growing after hibernation). i have no recording... ever. tv is through iptv (two virtual tuners)

Is it a standalone install only (one PC with MP + TV Server) or do you have other computers that connect to the server?

standalone install. I tried to reinstall (without uninstalling my plugins) but didn't fix it. I noticed it because I had lags in video games and some TV crashes. I can provide logs if you tell me what/how to get.
