Is DVD and BluRay ISO natively supported within MediaPortal2? I just installed it and configured the Videos folder but ISO files are not detected. If it is not supported, would this be added in a future version?

I added Media Sources and in MP2 client, navigated to the required folder and there was nothing showing. Folders containing MP4 files, MKV files, etc are shown but folders containing ISO files are showing as "No items to display"

No logs, no further help possible. Definitely ISO is supported ootb. So if it's not working for you something is wrong on your system. To find out what, we need log files.

This is the log file I have generated although I am not sure if it is any use. If you say it is supported and I don't see it on 3 machines, I suspect it is a configuration issue but cannot find how to configure it to allow for detection and playback of video embedded in ISO files.[DOUBLEPOST=1460290410][/DOUBLEPOST]Ah my apologies! It is available in the Video menu and not movies menu!

    Hi.
I suspect it is a configuration issue
There is nothing to configure for this.

It is available in the Video menu and not movies menu!
Then the iso files are not recognized as movies. You need to name them properly (best is to add the tt number somewhere in the file name) and/or add some sort of .nfo (metadata) file next to the iso file. It can be a full blown .nfo file with all metadata containing like the ones well known from Kodi that can be generated with lots of tools like Ember, tinymediamanager, MKV-Buddy (see my signature) and so on. Nearly every media center program is supporting this kind of metadata files. And so do MP2. Even a simple text file containing the IMDB (tt) or TheMovieDB ID will do the trick. This nfo file needs to be named exactly as the video (ISO) file.

It is sometimes possible to use MP clients from a release that is different to the MP server, but whether it works depends on the specific changes that were made between the two releases. -- from CyberSimian in the UK

Well, all that remains is to find someone who will add this render if it is a render.
