@joz: ' can be used in folder names. Any online decrypters active? I noticed if DVD is css or regional protected mencoder doesn't work quite well so you have to have some kind of online decrypter. Are mencoder.exe and mplayer.exe in same folder?

Sorry but it didn't work still doesn't pop up with the virtual keyboard.. Btw does anybody else have this problem just to check if i am not alone

Anyway the problem is:
When you put in the dvd after you entered medieslayer and it says "do you want to rip it" then it does not give you the virtual keyboard...

I will try right now your new release. By the way, isn't it possible to have the source code ? Then I'm able to "debug" it on vs and see if i've got problem what's going on

I have try a new time the version d and after the whole process I've finally a .avi result. The file is 1200 mo (so a bit too high) and I don't know why soo much big.
Other thing is that file is not readable by classic mplayer (mplayer2.exe).

Also, the percentage and estimated time was wrong (I think it was more than 900% and remining time was in fact the "starting time" * -1
I've try to check on the log of mp but nothing seems wrong.

I'll keep you informed.

if I'm trying to use Media Slayer with Mencoder MP crashes. I tried it with several versions of MP (1.0, SVN from 7.3. and 28.2).
I'm very sorry, I've forgotten my logfiles (I'll post them later). I'm using a kind of GUI MPlayer (with mencoder), perhapes this version ist incompatible with MP.

So could someone send his mencoder.exe (and required files) to me?

All of you having a problems with mencoder, please download the version from given link in first post. I just updated mine yesterday and all is working really well with that. Also problem with MPC not able to play movie is gone with that version.

Hi manfred,
after downloading "your" version of mencoder.exe ist seemed to work. So MP is crashing no more.
But after 50% ripping I get another errormessage:
Ripping failed!
Mencoder #1 pass error!

edit:Disk Protection seems to be the problem, I'll install AnyDVD as Online Decripter and try it again.
edit2: No, Disk Protection is not the Problem, I tried with AnyDVD and diffrent DVDs. I also tried with a protection free DVD: same Problem.

Please post logs with debug flag on. Error.log and MediaPortal.log both are needed.

What is that MediaSlayer version you are using? It is not the latest one of MS?!?

Mencoder works without errormessage, now.
But the outputfile can't be found anywhere on harddisc.
I also tried Version 1.1e t1.

Some hints for me?

P.s. I'll post logfiles later, because encoding takes some time.

For me, mencoder has some problem, when I try to check it i've got strange percentage (I have necer % from 0 to 100, it s always other things).
Also, if I use mencoder manually i've got an output file but can't play the file.

Cilla, Can you post a link (or directly the file) of the mencoder.exe and mplayer.exe you are using ?

Hey Manfred... Really liking the revised 1.1D... Finally all the percentage bars are making sense and it is good to see native support for Blue3...

But.... I've had to go back to using IMGBurn rather than Internal ISO as Internal ISO seems to come up with some errors... None the less not a big deal...

But The big deal... IMGBurn seems to steal focus from MediaPortal and the only way to regain is flipping back... This is annoying if your trying to show off the whole "Look no keyboard" buzz...

Any ideas, as I said not a biggie, but with everything else running so nicely now, be good to see this resolved... Thanks a million...
