media slayer with RC1 does not work

I am getting errors in the logs with 1.1 RC1. No Rip ever starts for anything. DVD or CD.

You are using Black Glass skin which is not RC1 compatible. Use B3W and mediaslayer.xml from page back and all is good. Or modify mediaslayer.xml a bit (see what needs to be done from wiki or fixed mediaslayer.xml previous page). Hint: it is progress bar which needs to be changed.

Seems that way, I have tried with both BlackGlass and Blue3 Wide.... Any update in the horizon guys

Why update if all is working - or is it?

But please be in contact with skin authors if you have problems with RC1 and this plugin.

Next version changes:
- own xml file for settings so mediaportal.xml will stay clean
- cd covers also mapped to folders, this is now missing and needs scanning after ripping to get cover displayed
- disable main movie ripping as there is problems with some DVDs. Or is this working for anybody?

I don't know if the problem is skin related or plug-in related... I used both skins and the plug-in just does not seem to be working.. I will give another try...

UPDATE: Nothing is wrong what so ever, well kinda... It seems that when I ran through the installation process and it asked me if I wanted to configure at the end, I did... But once I had done all my settings and gone to okay, it had not written to the XML...

I had to enter through MPConfig/plugins/media slayer and setup through there for my actual settings to save... This is not a biggie, just the installer did not do what I was expecting... Any ideas?

UPDATE UPDATE: No I was wrong, some thing weird is still going on, I've noticed that the free hard drave status is not showing, and yeah it asks me if I want to rip but nothing happens after I go yes... LOGS?

Yes, same here. I use the StreamedMP skin, but also tried b3w skin

But did you adjust skin file or not? It will not work without changing progress bar definitions.
