Hey Pilehave,

How are things going? Any news yet on the annoying RC4 menu focus bug?

Well I myself have been busy getting some stuff right. I noticed some issue with navigation.
In loads of skin files on listcontrols etc there's set a <onright> to the id of the top menu item. This does not work!
Onright will make you go to the spincontrols instead! So I decided to do most of the stuff with left, which kinda is counter intuitive but atleast the menu is reachable.
I was working on MVids and other skins that have this issue.

I have the fix done, but it means a new myHome-generator with a bit more complicated structure. And...the MediaStream.dll can't set focus anymore, as the process-plugins can't access windows like they used to, and I just can't figure out how to do it right.

I haven't given up, but this means no more focus on the last used item in myHome

You are right about the onright-problem, and even hiding the spincontrols will still allow focus. Guess nobody ever thought of placing the menu on the right side

What did they change in RC4 which "screws up" your skin, in layman's term please ? And what does "no more focus on the last used item" mean? That if you back from series to the main menu, it goes back to the startup item instead of series (for example)?

If you're making a new MyHome generator, could you list the id's of all supported plugins? Or will it work in an entirely different manner?

Still the best skin out there! I would stick to it even it was upsidedown

Right, I read about that somewhere else before. This can really be considered a bug, is this known by the dev crew?
Doesn't show up on any of the bugtracker pages I was taking a peek at just now

Hi,

I would like to use the MyFilms Plugin with this nice skin.

Basically I got it to work, but unfortunatly the discription text on the main page of the plugin is missing (see screenshot).
I use version 4.7.9a of the MyFilms plugin.

What I am doing wrong ?

There is actually a setting to not let spincontrol get focus in listcontrols. <spinCanFocus> I used it in streamedmp, only problem is this only works with listcontrols and no other controls.

Hey spuck, thanx for the tip!

This way I can make the navigation a little more usable. I like this skin but the most important thing that it's properly usable.
For the most part this skin function perfectly fine but there's still some issues. Have something to play again, thx for that

Second: what xml file do I need to modify to move the page numbering that appears in filmstrip view?

Looks like it's Moving Pictures? In that case it's movingpictures.facade.xml

I'll fix the bug in next update
