MediaPortal 1.0 will not be that different from Mediaportal 1.0 RC4.

Hi robyf!

there's only one small modification necessary:

in the reference.xml you have to change the Version from 0.9.4.0 to 1.0.0.0

<skin>
<width>1280</width>
<height>720</height>
<version>0.9.4.0</version>
</skin>

... the only reason is, to get rid of the message "outdated skin ... "

I have a problem since upgrading to 1.0. When I launch mediaportal it says there is no or invalid myhome.xml file in the skin directory but the skin seems to work OK.

Seems like every new version of MediaPortal will break something. Well, here's an updated DLL with newest updates to the skin-files, now ready for MediaPortal 1.0 Final

It's not the problem with outdated skin... but I think pilehave has fixed it, will try later...

The skin is really awesome, I like it a lot.



I however have a problem: in the home-menu my backgrounds won't show up.
Even though I select a background in the menu editor for my items and update and save it they won't show up when I load MP next.
And when I go back to the menueditor after that there is no background selected anymore for the menu items.

How can I make the backgrounds show up? It now is just pitch black!

I still have the message "Missing or invalid file "*path to skin*/myhome.xml" in the background of the home screen and also the same message in the plugin section but for the file myhomeplugins.xml... any idea?

Do I have to delete mediastream.xml from mediaportal application data folder?

Edit: sorry my fault... I forgot to copy the language folder from the old installation...

When you edit a menu-item you MUST use the "UPDATE" button after editing the specific menu-entry. Else it won't save the changes (I know, bad GUI).
