Hey love the skin.. Hard choice between this and streamedMP but I must say this one seems to have more support for 3rd party plugins...

On that note though, I've noticed a few of the skin files are a little out.. MediaSlayer recently updated to 1.1b. It is quite an improvment though sadly the skin file you have does not seem to be compatible.

I will give it a shot to fix this, but though it be worth noting none the less.. Also another question. Why is the info menu so skinny? Most of the text has to do a fadelable just to show the content...

    Hope I'm making sense. Thanks

    Just a quick question.

StreamedMP is plagued with the crashes issue. But when I tried this Mediastream version, it also crashed. Are both skins having the same issue? Or is it just my htpc which is fu.... . fumbled up. :D

Unless I hear different I think it's stable enough. I would go so far as to say, that if a plugin crashes the system, because of wrong/missing labels/list etc. in the skin, well...then the plugin is written badly without any error-handling. There should always be (as a minimum) some kind of try() catch() logic in the plugin. I would try to disable the plugins one by one until I find the one that crashes. MediaPortal can't crash because of a skin. It can crash because of a plugin :)

I hear what you are saying. And you are probably right. But for some reason I seem to be having crashes with the StreamedMP/Mediastream skin and no problems with the Black&white skin. Both stream variants crash when I enter MovingPictures. It is probably related to that plugin. But there must also be a difference between the skins in handling this plugin.
btw, the crash I am talking about means that I am instanly looking at my desktop with a windows error message with <send> and <don't send>. No MP error message/log shows up.

Well actually that's not correct. Depending on a plugin (even an inbuilt one) a missing control or a circular focus handling* might very well lead to crashes or at least strange behaviour.

    * like 1. focus button in action group 2. fade out action group 3. focus listcontrol if action group is't visible and is not empty 4. Listcontrol is emtpy - use default button 5. default button does not exist since it is hidden with the action group
