Hi Poko,

I'm sorry to say that what you're suggesting is not in the scope of my little project. I get your point though, I do not mind that much myself, you can also run it on top of MP, and I think there's somewhere a black screen program that you could use to make it feel like it's integrated (so you'll never see windows desktop)
If anyone wants to help with something more like Poko's suggestioning and you're interested in the incorporation of this page, you can PM me.

1.1 is almost done.

See below for a feeling for google implementation. I will for now have it triggered by 0. T9 support will have to wait until a later version.
Already have done the vertical centerring of the wrapper and the fade animation for the numberoverlay.

Oh right and as a fan of black on HTPC screens I did the google custom search in a black (intead of default white) background way.
Maybe I'll be blowing up the search box a bit more to make it better readable.

1.1 is up now! See TS for changes.

1.1 ships with a known rendering issue on latest opera (which is not too bad) and have not found a solution yet.

just have a suggestion that esc key closes google search.. if possible..

also, is it intended for backdrop to display little to the left and not in the middle? maybe it's resolution related?

will have my own chrome and firefox plugins ready soon.. for better htpc browsing with mwp.. will post when they are finished..

About your suggestion, sure this can be added. I was wondering if I should not expose more settings to config.js for users to configure, such as; fade animation for numberoverlay (which is jumpy on my main htpc), document click causes selected link to open etc.
If there's any need for such configurations just let me know and I'll incorporate them.
Should the esc key toggle the google dialog or just close it? The last one might make more sense if I add more dialogs later. Currently the zero key toggles the dialog which makes it impossible to search with zero so I might have to do things differently. I would need zero for T9 support as well (space), maybe I'll change it to press zero 3 seconds to close.
My remote's normal escape key in mp (back) closes firefox currently and maximizes mp again so that's the reason I chose zero in the first place.

About the backdrop it is intended like that. The backdrops can have any dimension and will in fact be centered. Some backdrops on the default config however have been designed to be displayed off center.

Curious about your plugins, will check em out when you are done!

The esc key has been added to toggle google search (for now, easiest implementation as the code stands now. Might change it to close only?!) .

Planning to throw out a new release with CSS3 PIE implementation for better Internet Explorer CSS(3) compatibility.
Requests for future release 1.2 are welcome. CSS3 PIE will be part of maintenance release 1.1.2

This looks amazing and it might replace My Programs which I use to launch various websites I use for streaming.

But there is one site I can't figure out how to open.

I have no problem opening the generic website at TV 2 Sportens Livesenter

But at that website you can install an silverlight "app" that stores your configuration of the website, the default layout has alot of internal windows like "Last event", "Last video event", "Matches on TV2 Sumo", "Video", "Chat", "Other programs" and "Schedule". These windows can be closed and resized as one pleases and if one installs the app and uses that to launch the website the customization is saved.

I have a shortcut where the target looks like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Silverlight\sllauncher.exe" 2038479423.[url]www.tv2.no[/url]

But I can't figure out what to putt in the config-file, if I put the .lnk-file I get a save/open popup, and if I put the target from the .lnk I get a save/open for sllauncher.exe

Are there any solutions for this?
