Starting today, Live TV fails to start on numerous channels on one client in my multiseat setup. All other clients have no problems.

After selecting the channel from the epg screen, sometimes the screen gets black, sometimes the last image from the previous channel is shown. However, Mediaportal is still responding, I can get back to the menu-screen.

MediaPortal.log seems ok to me but TsReader.log shows lots of this: [5e0]memorybuffer:put full buffer (12583592)
    You find both logfiles attached.

The only configuration change that I am aware of is that I set up MP not to be always on top.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated, if I can't get TV to work in winter holiday, I will be in BIG trouble :-/

    Cheers,

    DiePlage

The Problem seems to be caused by an issue with the ATI-HDMI-3 sounddevice.
Under special circumstances (I have not been able to reproduce them), the hdmi handshake between the soundchip and my AV-receiver (Yamaha RX-V465) fails and the sound-symbol in Win7 system tray shows the "muted" icon. A balloon-tipp tells me that "there are no speakers connected". In this case the whole windows-sound is muted and MP reacts as described.

It looks like this happens on rare occasions if the AV-Receiver is set to a different source while the ATI-Sounddevice initializes. However, I have not been able to reproduce this.

A Catalyst-Upgrade from 10.11 to 10.12 seems to have solved the issue but I have only been testing for a couple of days now.

    Cheers, DiePlage
