attached zip file is from Win8.1 system with MePo 1.7.0. This also shows same type of problems with ATSC CC. This test is just trying to use TVmpeg2 codec = MsftDTV-DVD codec. I did a "regsvr32.exe /u cccp.ax" to remove CoreCC from the mix, don't expect to see ATSC/CC. Did debug=1 MePo start to generate logs, just went to TV, started watching Live TV. In this case MePo tries to use Msft codec, gets errors (see logs), and falls back to LAV codec.

I just attached my LAV codec + my cccp.ax that work for me on my Win8.1 :)

hmm, I downloaded your cccp_V2, did regsvr32.exe /u cccp.ax then regsvr32.exe cccp.ax to use your version. Configured CoreCC and other settings to enable ATSC/CC to match your "picts" and TVmpeg2 = LAV. This is what I've always been trying. I still can't get ATSC/CC to work with LAV. This was on my Win7 system. For LAV I'm using 0.61.2 that was part of the 1.7.0 download, only setting difference is Intel QuickSync for my system

On Win8.1, downloaded cccp_V3, did switchover, config'd Tvmpeg2 = LAV, ATSC/CC does not work for me. Also using LAV 0.61.2

compared cccp_V2 file with CoreCCParser20130727 cccp.ax file I've been using since MePo 1.3.0 and all my 1.7.0 tests using windows "fc comand", same file

    C:\Users\Ron\Downloads\cccp_V2>fc /b cccp.ax C:\Users\Ron\Downloads\CoreCCParser20130727\CoreCCParser\cccp.ax

    Comparing files cccp.ax and C:\USERS\RON\DOWNLOADS\CORECCPARSER20130727\CORECCPARSER\CCCP.AX
    FC: no differences encountered

did not try your LAV version, do I just copy those files into the LAV folder?

have not played with win8.1 UAC, just have Win8 default settings. Up to now I have not needed to change UAC settings. tomorrow I'll look at tweaking UAC settings.
