Hi grassynoel, would it be possible to make a default icon for all the plugins who dont have a defininte MoPo item yet,

Cos I realy like Mepo but it's difficult to support all plugins, so a general common Mepo to fall back to would be great

I have already included 3 icons called generic_01.png generic_02.png & generic_03.png with mePo Green(At lest I have them in mine here ) They show him just standing there, or waving. You can use those for now.

THe background appears & the silver/grey MP icon rotates, but no menu options are listed. For now I have reverted back to Blue2, but would dearly love to get this skin going.

Yes, i think the font is not installed correctly. Did you put it into the windows/fonts folder?

Hi Grassy, Love the green skin, one slight thing my TV Guide has the wording "XBOX Media Center CVS Build" hiding the program times.
Should this even be there or is it just a problem that I have.

Fantastic work, this is definately something I want to get into, just need guidance.

This I'm unsure about. It's hard to say what's going on as I'm really just Modding Blue Two. I have changed the graphics and a few positions of tings in the XML and that's pretty much it. Are you sure you're running the 0.2.1.0 release?

Are the mepo icons on the home screen supposed to dissapear when you select them?

They don't for me at home or at work. Are you running the correct version of MP 0.1.2.0?

I really like the feeling of the background. In my opinion, the font is extremely hard to read. I have a 50" plasma and I couldn't handle the font personally:



The last image is the SteelTwo Wide but with grassynoel's background.png file instead of the original SteelTwo Wide background.

As another user posted, there were white dots around the font text that was distracting.

I was very pleased with the skin overall, I'd just like to see a different font instead. Thanks for the hardwork Glenn! Looking forward to more updates and fine tuning!

Argh!
Okay okay, i'll change the font but if you want to change it to the blue two font (without bringing back the glass panels and big buttons, copy fonts.xml from blue two into MePoGreen and delete mePoGreen's fonts folder. Job done.
I'm going to scout for a new font that's a bit funky but more legible. Any ideas (must be freeware) please chime in.

Do note Glenn that this is just my opinion I only express it because it is what I have a preference for. I will definately try out your font change and gather an assessment then. I LOVE the dark background as it is more soothing than a bright background.

It's not just your opinion but one expressed more often about the font. I guess I chose something funky for the main page, not really thinking too much about how it worked on the guide. I'm surfing font sites now and will post some options..
