WHen updating to the current Version of the IPTV and URL source spliter (using MPEI), F-Secure will block/quarantine the file MPUrlSourceSplitter.ax withe a (hopefully) false positive virus detection.

Edit: VirusTotal: 8 scanner engines will mark this file as Gen.Variant:Kazy

I hope so, that it is false positive virus detection. I didn't found any suspicious activity on my dev PC (unfortunately, my TV server dies two days ago, so I can't check on TV server). Strange, that only one file is detected with such virus. I expect, that almost all files should be infected, if on my dev PC is virus.

This is set up in the MP Configuration sections for Video, TV, DVD. Regarding online video material this not works. Is there any way way to use post processing also for online video material?

This is not right place. Right place is OnlineVideos forum, because playback is absolutely under OnlineVideos control. Anyway, in current OnlineVideos state, it is not possible.

Can anyone shed some light on why online videos might not be working for me.

MP 1.11 / OV 2.0 / Mpurlsplitter 2.19.5600

i have manually regsvr32 the .ax file in \mediaportal\mpurlsplittersource\mpurlsplittersource.ax so it is definitely registered.

i get "no video url" error, these are definitely files that have played successfully on other mp installations.

"Your logs are missing a file like "MPUrlSourceSplitter.log" and the log says:
[05-09 22:05:28,893] [MPMain ] [WARN ] Error adding 'MediaPortal Url Source Splitter' filter to graph: Exception from HRESULT: 0xFFFFFFFB"

This could be wrong, but in the interests of a fast answer...

That HRESULT is -5 in two's compliment format.

As you can see, code -5 means "invalid plugin".

There is an install MPEI normally : https://github.com/MediaPortal/MediaPortal-1/commit/73842486f830e4a1ce85bbd2a2b77804db955fb6
Better to use that otherwise the filter alone will be surely not working.
