Has anyone been able to run Message Plugin with 1.6?? I just tried and doesn't seem to work anymore, didn't have much time to test sorry, had to revert back to 1.5 (sick baby and needed to keep the wife happy).

The same applies to me. With MediaPortal 1.6.0 Pre-Release it was still working. A fix would be highly appreciated!

Did you read Dragy's post from this morning?

Use EventghostPlus, it contains message plugin. But you will also need a modified MediaPortal.exe for it to work.

A modified MediaPortal.exe is posted in the EventGhostPlus thread. Give that a try.

Nope, this is not possible to fix at the plugin side. That's why there is a MediaPortal executable fix

Thank you! Applied the modified MediaPortal.exe to my installation and MessagePlugin is working with 1.6 now. Looking forward to 1.6.x with fix.

Upgraded to 1.8.0, (so this fix wasn't needed), but now after a period of time, the remote stops working randomly. It is consistent and reproducable, by starting mediaportal and waiting, until eventually the remote doesn't do anything. Event Ghost will still show action though. I have to close MP and open it again to get it working. Any ideas/ anyone else?
