    Hi all,

I am running the latest Moving Pcitures with MePo RC1 - Works great! :D

I have noticed in the MovingPictures logfile that it is reporting that the en-gb.xml language file is missing.

Guess what...it is - there is no such file. :(

It is not causing me a problem, as MovingPictures is falling back to the en.xml file.

My question is, should there be a en-gb.xml file?

And how have I set the language to be en-gb??? (I'm thinking it has picked this up from a setting outside of MovingPictures - maybe a region setting?)

    :D

MovingPictures tries to use the same language settings as defined by you in MediaPortal. Translations are relatively new in MovingPictures, so not all languages have translations yet.

It is set in the MePo Configuration Application > General > Skin > Language Settings > Default Language.

@ltfearme is it intended that there be a language file en.xml with the majority of translations and then a en-gb.xml and en-us.xml with specific localisations? Currently en-us.xml has all the translations.

General note to users who have something to contribute:

Please sign up for Google Code @ https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount

Once you do, you can submit bug reports, enhancement requests, patches and scraper/language/etc contributions at the right place. The problem with the forum is that things get lost easy, and then the developers might miss out on something useful (such as the en-gb.xml language file). The user contributing might get the feeling they are ignored when in fact it is just getting lost in the sea of messages.

On the Google SVN nothing gets lost as it is the actual place where development takes place. It might take a while before a developer has time to claim ownership of a new issue and respond, but that's just normal since they have real jobs as well to deal with. Join the IRC channel otherwise for a direct communication with the developers, as they usually lurk in there, even while at work.

The forum is still a good place to use for general support, but try to put the actual contributions on the Google SVN where they belong.

    Thank you.
